So whats the verdict

So whats the verdict

i hate danny mcbride. should i watch?

It was okay. It has potential for good comedy.

Slow start but pretty entertaining, like someone said most of it was in the trailer, should pick up a bit more now that they're a 'team'.

Southern dandy Goggins is a treat.

Goggins is the best
>THIS IS MY HOUSE MOTHERFUCKER

I could listen to Goggins cuss for hours

>already been renewed for season 2
God is great

Who /Ray/ here?

I love how he's a genuinely nice guy. and Shea Whigham is a great talent.

Can't tell if this chick is hot or not. Sweet disposition though.

>mfw you know damn well what scene I'm talking about

Not funny. Didn't laugh once at the pilot. And I was a huge EAD fan.

...

...

Is this some sort of spiritual spin off of ebad?

I feel like he's going to turn out to be an actual asshole, like Mcbride's character was right all along but nobody will buy it since he's been crying wolf for so long

kind of feels like a 48% drama, 52% comedy at the moment

Well Danny's writing it so probably.

Playing the long game? Looking like that? Well, we'll see.

I think he's talking about the fat girl.

It was a very "pilot-y" pilot, if that makes sense. A lot of it was just setup without much punchline. Eastbound & Down is the perfect comedy pilot.

I should hope not..

that whole scene made me uncomfortable.

I'll agree with this. Although maybe limited potential within the current setting, I can see it working for one season, but then they need to really change it up.

Still not used to boys hovering around ya, sexy?

says it's going to be an 18 episode limited run over 2 years.

Danny has been playing the same character type since The Foot Fist Way, but I like it.
