ITT: Artists you used to love, but can't stand anymore

I'll start with the most obvious choice

Tom Waits

I was such a fedoralord for him in my 17-19, but now even the idead of put in some of his music is making me nauseous.

lol guess it's a good thing I never listened to him

Shinedown

I used to worship Linkin Park when I was 14. They're cringy now although I enjoyed Living Things a few years back.

holy fuck what plebs

>Linkin Park
>System of a Down
>Green Day

the middle school white boy starter pack

You forgot Disturbed

Ehhhh

I never liked Disturbed. Even their one hit Down with the Sickness annoyed the shit out of me.

But that song by Drowning pool was my shit

LET THE BODIES HIT THA FLOOR
LET THE BODIES HIT THA FLOOR
LET THE BODIES HIT THA FLOOR
LET THE BODIES HIT THA FLOOR

OOOOOOWWWWHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

SoaD are legit great though. one of the few bands from the nu-metal era that still completely hold up today.

I fuckin loved SoaD from when I was 10-13

then I guess I outgrew them midway through high school

I put on Toxicity recently and it did nothing fir me desu

Mezmerize and Hypnotize are superior imo

Swans
Neutral Milk Hotel
Slint

...

Why? Tom Waits has such variety, how could you get sick of him?

I used to think Tool were the most revolutionary band ever. I still think they're great (new album when) but I'm not as much of a faggot about them now as I used to be

I think Toxicity still holds up today. it's definitely the peak of nu-metal imho

Their albums had become Violent Pornography by then

Korn, I can't listen to anything after Life is Peachy, and I use to love Untouchables, and Issues. I fell off at Take Another Look in the Mirror, but now it's all just whiny, self-pity/low self-esteem filled garbage to me.

This.
I still stand by Sound of Madness being a genuinely good mainstream rock record, though

this desu
I used to listen to butt metal and shit like limp bizkit in 6th grade

that's your fault for actually liking meme rap

I always liked A Perfect Circle better than Tool

Yeah, they're pretty good. ngl I'm a little salty they're dropping a record this year and tool isn't but whatever
