Please, that team's track record has been melting since the 90's.

If you want a west coast team you might as well jump on the Seahawks bandwagon.

kek

One of the movies in the cube series has this.
I liked those movies

Body horror was popular.

Damn that's a cool effect.

Raiders Of The Lost Ark, and the terrible melting face scene at the end.

Goddamn, that effect is fantastic

Total recall

Because movies of the 80's did everything better than today's generalized broader audience based China, Russian exports.
Literally films are dumbed down for international sale.

Creepshow 2's the Raft had some melting iirc

DAMN that looks amazing.

I'm talking about Raiders of the Lost Ark you fucking dip

There was a movie called The Stuff

It's bad

Obvious answer:
They used latex/rubber for special effects and it was easy to burn or throw in some goo and make a melted person.
Like how 300 went overdrive on blood spatters because it was easy to throw it in with CG.
Or like explosions.
It's convenient to the technology available.

what movie?

The Ail Money

And yet it is never on cable, or anywhere.

This is an odd thread. but i like it.

Creepshow 2

is that Brendan Fraser as he looks now?

JUST
4U
Lol

The gore and deaths are basically the only redeeming features of the movie. It's like an exploitation film. Not a good follow-up to The Fly at all, but as a bit of B-grade sci-fi horror you could do worse.

Yes, The Fly 2 was forgettable. Completely different kind of story that followed a very predictable direction.

Thanatomorphose
Body Melt

this one is essential body melting

EL JUSTO JAJA

The Incredible Melting Man (which was also the subject of one MST3K episode).

The Fly (1986)
The Fly II (its immediate sequel)
Terminator 2
The Blob (both versions)
Gremlins

Literally pick any 80s sci-fi/horror kino, as this thread has clearly revealed.

Stephen kings short story, The Raft. Was in Creepshow.

I wouldn't call it "bad" but it was definitely a letdown for me, as a Cohen fan. God Told Me To and Q: The Winged Serpent are much, much better

10 Cloverfield Lane

theres an episode of master of horror where people melt when their kids eat some voodoo doll ice lolly.I think beecher was in it

The Incredible Melting Man

Chug down some tenafly viper

Cube Zero acid trap

That's the last thing I'd do if I was melting. Pulling your own face off? Why?

I can't wait for summer to be over
