The ending saves this film. Makes you think about it afterwards. Trying to work out what the "Martyr" said at the end. Then you realize that the ending would suck if you heard the matyrs last words. The fact that we never know the words that cause the twist makes it great for some reason

This movie is an example of how movies have changed with the introduction of CGI.
The most memorable scenes, and probably one of the best in cinema history, is 3 guys standing around doing nothing for 2 or 3 minutes.

Probably the only good Alan Moore adaptation. Zack Snyder has a real knack for imitating the frames of the graphic medium. Certainly no coincidence that his adaptations are all good and his original concepts are trash.
