So what was the problem with this movie again?
So what was the problem with this movie again?

Tight ass fuckboi Robin
massive fucking boyslut
it wasn't the 1960s anymore.
its really bad
chicks didn't dig the car
No CIA
nothing. the only people who hate it are the ones who hate Adam West Batman and think it should be super serious and grimdark.
You need to chill out
Doctor Pavelier it's me, Barbara.
Critics lips must have been immune to it's charm
>You know what killed the dinosaurs?...
>the ice age!
Bane?
Arnold wasn't the Batman.
Who would you rather bang in this movie? Batgirl or Poison Ivy???
Nerd ivy
I thought it was great.
I was actually really surprised when I found out that people thought it was shit.
1. Bat Credit Card.
2. The puns.
3. Barbara's lack of accent even though she's supposed to be from England.
4. Robin being a whiny little bitch.
5. Bat Credit Card.
6. Bat Credit Card.
7. Bat Credit Card
Bat Credit card was good though.
It was the 90s and Edge was in. Just look to the other cape flicks of the time. Blade and Punisher.
Of course something light hearted and /fun/ was booed
The one before this was campy as fuck and people loved it.
This movie was hated because it was shit and gay.
>bat credit card
>batman's suit has nipples but batgirl's doesn't
>ice puns
>its gay, not the good kind like adam west batman
bat credit card was awful and probably ruined the whole movie
but this movie has the best batman villains: mr freeze, bane, ivy, all great
Batman Forever was campy, but had a *little* bit of restraint. People liked it because it was a breath of fresh air after Batman Returns was seen as too dark and unfriendly for kids.
It did have valid criticisms though, and Batman & Robin took the parts that were bad about it and expanded on them (the garish colors, the bad puns, the camp).
The movie was terrible before bat credit card.
Like said, it took the worst parts of Forever and turned it up to 11.
Like Burton made Returns super grimdark because everyone loved the 89 one, so he doubled down on the darkness.
>hating this
Joel Schumacher being almost as shit as Snyder
What would you rather watch this or BvS?
at least this one has alicia silverstone, bvs has nothing worth seeing
>Sup Forums is so contrarian that they defend Batman & Robin
Impressive.
>Sup Forums is one person
I like B&R
I also remember being 10 years old.
Anything with Robin in it is shit.
>not appreciating a smart throwback to the 60s
Batman forever is the best Batman movie
The aesthetic was perfect
>"Ice to see you!"
>"Everybody chill!"
>"You're not sending ME to the COOLER!"
>"Their bones will turn to ice! Their blood will freeze in my hands!"
>"I'm afraid my condition has left me cold to your pleas of mercy."
>"Let's kick some ice!"
>"If revenge is a dish best served cold, then put on your Sunday finest. It's time to feast! "
>"What killed the dinosaurs? The Ice Age!"
>"Freeze in Hell, Batman!"
>"The Iceman cometh!"
>"Allow me to break the ice. My name is Freeze. Learn it well. For it's the chilling sound of your doom."
>"Surprise, I am your new cell mate. And I'm here to make your life a living hell. Prepare for a bitter harvest."
>"In this universe, there's only one absolute...everything freezes!"
>"Tonight, hell freezes over!"
>"Cool party!"
>"I hate it when they talk during the movie."
That's Forever, not this shlock.
Forever is just as bad
It's bad, but I don't remember hating it as much as I hated B&R.
chill out
>mfw will never see Tim Drake in a Batman live action -.-
Nigger, West Batman kicks ass. Probably because the costumes kicked ass, and the villians were well acted.
Batman and Robin had neither.
/thread
It was filled throughout with cringe inducing quips and tryhard campiness, with no seriousness or consequence whatsoever.
Millennial faggots would've loved it. Warner should just repackage this shit as DCEU: The Early Years and proceed to out-do Disney at the box office.
BvS though went too far in the opposite way
>problem
>>"Their bones will turn to ice! Their blood will freeze in my hands!"
That's not a pun
He was just pointing out many of the cheesy lines in that movie. Not all are puns, but all of them are really lame.
Don't forget about the suits with nipples
Not enough Arnold.
Nothing wrong with that for Batgirl though.
I thought the movie kicked ice
Take a chill pill they weren't that bad
- Bane was fucking stupid.
- Barbra was annoying and unnecessary.
- Some of the puns were absolute shit.
- Uma Thurman. Basically everything with her.
- Suits looked dumb.
Plus side, they actually did a subtle reference to the Floronic Man, and made him look like Dr. Clayton Forrester.
9/10
You forgot the most straightforward coldpun...
"Winter has come at last."
>problem
It was complete dogshit, the only redeeming factor is it looks like Arnie had a lot of fun making it.
