Really digging your stuff lately, dude. Can't wait to hear more from you!

Cruising is amazing! I just downloaded the album. The production is clean, but not overbearing. Very groovy electronic sounds.

PEOPLE I DON'T KNOW

nicolasmartinez.bandcamp.com/

Nectar: Really nice. It has a nice emotional vibe. The production is pretty good, also.

City of Cinders: This is a really good song, but the mix is a bit off-putting particularly the vocals, they're too loud and widely panned for me. I like the singing and playing, though. I'd love to listen to it live.

II: There's a very subtle, natural rhythm too this, which i dig. The balance of frequencies is pretty pleasant, and the changes are frequent enough to keep me interested. It's great when the low end it saturates. It sound very controlled, yet heavy.

Test: This is very reminiscent of early Animal Collective, but less abrasive. The melody is very nice.

Dierksimus here. Thanks for the kind words. I'm glad you liked "Nectar".

I dig your style. Kind of reminds me of a stripped down "Reggie And The Full Effect". Keep making music!!!

I know i'm not the best singer or producer, so
far my main focus lies on the lyrics and the
guitarwork, kind of trying to bring a bit hiphop
influence in some of these songs. I would love
some feedback on it, will definitely return and
give some when i come home from work.

I enjoyed this. very nice producion and choice
of synth sounds. i think what's missing would
just be someone singing over this.

very interesting stuff. i really like how you
worked all the different sounds into your music
and how many changes some of these songs
have. the production is great and your sound is
very interesting. keep going with that.

very strange and emotive at the same time.
sounds very original to me though i got kinda
reminded of early john frusciante albums

nakamurapunto.bandcamp.com/album/ego

This is alright, my only complains are that some sounds come very suddenly, but that's me being a faggot, and the other one, that I can barely read the lyrics in Bandcamp.

The guitar work is fucking amazing man, I really love it. what are you using for that tone?
Also, try adding some dynamics to the drums next time though, it's alright to have a loop, but if you add some random in the velocity of each hit, and also, by dequantizing them, you'll get a more human feel that your track could really use.

Thanks for the listen man. I agree about the rhythm, in my work I like to avoid intentionally adding any particularly rhythmic elements to better allow the subtle rhythms within the noise to take shape, so I'm glad someone else enjoys that shit.

I listened to your track here, it's not really in any style that I frequently listen to so it's hard to give much good feedback, but I was really digging the minimalistic but powerful production, it really lets the individual elements shine

We've found the true gods of cacophony, guys
It's pretty intense
golly gee this is super comfy, I'll keep you in mind when I'm in need of some cool background beats
sounds like you just ran microphones through a Digitech DM, the clipping ruins it a bit considering the noise itself lacks the high frequencies the clipping takes up, y'knowamsayin

Funny enough I don't actually own one of those pedals and when I recorded that album I didn't have any mics, contact or otherwise. It was all Puredata run through effects and back into the computer or manipulated sound recordings. As for the clipping, I'm not entirely sure what you mean, which track(s) did you listen to so I can have a better idea of what you're saying to avoid it in the future?

Nice:

Put a limiter/compression on it, so the audio won't peak. That's what I meant by clipping.
I should listen to your music again, but it really didn't sound too interesting or sharp/crispy enough for my tastes when I first checked II and III.

>old painting with white border
It's such a cheap way to make an album cover but golly it looks aesthetic

the white border aren't even of same height desu

It's not noticeable
I'm at the second track and I'm not sure if those random noises were intentional or not, but they are certainly unnecessary. I can hear white noise picked up by microphone, you sniffing, your chair cracking. It's quite frustrating to listen to especially when your guitar playing is so damn good. Work on the production or something, get a microphone that's less sensitive and only picks up the sound from what's in front of it.
I'm at the third track now and the same problem occurs, the annoying static noise that randomly appears and disappears.

bump
i won't let another thread die under 60
at least read the fucking reviews others gave you

Thanks for the feedback. The only intentional noises were the ones in the first track, the rest are annoying: I agree, it's from my shit mic. I'll look into purchasing some new equipment and software to minimise them.

That was a interesting listen. Great work, i dont even knlw how some things were made
the synths and atmosphere of second album are really haunting and the way that you put all together was awesome
Not what i expected, but a nice surprise. Idk if this could work as a more pop album including vocals in it, but you could try it
I liked a lot the samples/recordings you put on here
You got good stuff here. I'll try to listen more of you. Keep the good work

Dierksimus here,

I really dig your style dude. Funky bedroom jams, the production is solid but not polished to the point that it loses it's intimacy. Can't wait to hear more from you!

And to answer your question, No, I didn't run anything through tape. But the fact that I tricked you into thinking I did just made my entire weekend :)

Thank you for this. Why was i unaware of how desperate i am for rough chiptune?

I LOVE the production and vocals on Blush, the self referential lyrics are a bit too edgy for me to listen to seriously.

This is the perfect drone for me. Just the right balance. Will be recommending

I wish the vocals were louder ):
