huh

No Line could have been a top-tier U2 album if they followed through with the music they had made in Morrocco with Eno instead of scrapping most of it and trying to build admittedly good, but not amazing, U2-by-numbers anthems around that material.

That and then forcing in 3 throwaway pop songs in the middle for "hit single" material only made things worse.

This is a legitimately great listing, I've got to check it out sometime

This guy in general does great shit, but his FTM revision is one of my favorites
albumsthatneverwere.blogspot.com/2013/01/the-mars-volta-frances-mute-2cd.html

can't take credit for it, got it from another user on here, but it makes the album an 8/10

Soon->Moment of Surrender is a perfect moment

can you throw up a dl for this?

they just had no clear vision of what they wanted the album to be

first it was U2's experimental album then it was "future hymns" that would be played forever then they wanted the big dumb hit single in the mold of Elevation and Vertigo

gimme a second

uploading

bumpin, dont let me down

unused tracks from the vanilla NLOTH tacked on to the end

some of my favorites
Kanye West - The Life of Pablo: WAVES/SWISH track ordering (pic related)
Kanye West - So Help Me God (reddit.com/r/Kanye/comments/5b80ve/my_version_of_so_help_me_god_ive_been_working_on/?st=j1jpdai7&sh=cebd223e)
Radiohead - B Sides Albums project (reddit.com/r/radiohead/comments/4r9g1l/i_meticulously_arranged_the_radiohead_studio/?st=j1789l45&sh=0f86be67)
David Bowie - The Gouster (Who Can I Be Now? 1974-1976 Box Set)
Tool - 10,000 Days: 3 songs at once (youtube.com/watch?v=EFjEp79zaNw)

I was thinking of making an edited version of the Texas-Jerusalem Crossroads, putting together the better sounding parts from both albums together into the best sounding version for it

thanks!

Thanks, will listen

is nina chop famous?

>implying it isn't already perfect
by both albums do you mean both discs or master/remaster
interested either way
yee

tlop just needs someone to actually finish it and make into a cohesive product

it's obvious that kanye ultimately meant for a lot of the tracks to be bonus tracks but he never got around to a final sequencing

I can't believe Magnificent wasn't a huge hit.

original master and remaster. For example, using the original master of "Falling from Cloud 9" over the remastered version which sounds pretty bad. Switching out certain sections that I feel sound better in one version over the other, etc.

I think they pretty much burned out any public interest for that album after Get On Your Boots was released as the lead single

I remember this one for "straight outta compton" from a while back, does anyone have that saved?

Yeah, GOYB was horrendous. It barely went Top 40, but after a week the radio stations all dropped it off their playlist and it fell off the Hot 100 like a rock.

What a dumb move.

>10,000 Days
What a song, shame the rest of the album wasn't much

Also might as well post this: forum.sectioneighty.com/updated-so-help-me-god-swish-waves-mixtape-2-0-three-disc-collection.t58756

Some guy on Section80 made some alright constructions of SHMG, Swish, and Waves

bumpo for interest

Here's some that I came up with
rateyourmusic.com/list/Earsore/remade-albums_alt-tracklistings/

Kid Amnesiac

1. Everything In Its Right Place
2. Kid A
3. Pyramid Song
4. Pulk/Pull Revolving Doors
5. The National Anthem
6. How To Disappear Completely
7. The Amazing Sounds of Orgy
8. Optimistic
9. In Limbo
10. Like Spinning Plates
11. Treefingers
12. Idioteque
13. You and Whose Army?
14. Life In A Glasshouse
15. Morning Bell
16. Motion Picture Soundtrack

looks like a hot mess
both MPS and life in a glasshouse are closers to me. seems like sacrilege

That one seems pretty good, I'll have to try it out sometime. I did something similar a while back, with the intent of including as much material from that era as possible. It's a complete mess, but here it is anyway:

DISC 1:
1. Everything In Its Right Place
2. Kid A
3. The National Anthem
4. Pyramid Song
5. Pulk/Pull Revolving Doors
6. Kinetic
7. Knives Out
8. Hunting Bears
9. I Might Be Wrong
10. Dollars and Cents
11. Cuttooth

DISC 2:
1. Optimistic
2. In Limbo
3. Trans-Atlantic Drawl
4. Fast-Track
5. How to Disappear Completely
6. Fog
7. Idioteque
8. Morning Bell
9. Like Spinning Plates
10. Life In a Glasshouse
11. Motion Picture Soundtrack

wait shit I forgot You and Whose Army
it goes before Cuttooth

this gave me cancer

this is even worse

Yeah I know

Works better with the ep version of Life In A Glasshouse
