i dont think most of us are arguing its writing complexity. I look at most music by its sonic properties, which this album is very dull in that aspect, much like most of hip hop.
Not that story driven albums or subject in lyrics do not matter to me in music, it just never makes or break it for me. If sonically it is not interesting then you lost me
I find DAMN. simple, but yeah, I agree on that.
I never said it was bad, just not his best. His best songs on this album are a glimpse of his talent, you just get intermittent greatness, unlike TPAB which as a whole is great, one of the bests of all time.
