It's a shame he was a good Commie and followed Clinton to defeat.

She should have said FUCK NO I'M NOT GOING TO ENDORSE CLINTON SHE STOLE THE PRIMARIES FROM ME I'M RUNNING THIRD PARTY IF THE DNC IS GOING TO FUCK ME!

Of course he wouldn't do that. Under that "working class hero" facade, he was always just as establishment as anyone else.

y u heff 2 be mad

Nobody hates Bernie. Lots of people disagree, but nobody hates.

>when you don't know the difference between democratic socialism and Marxism and conflate the two thinking they are the same thing creating an ironically stupid meme

bernie is a closet communist

I don't even like bernie, but it ruffles my jam hams when people don't know the difference between marxism and socialism but have a very general understanding of marxism and absolutely no understanding of socialism

Bernie is based, faggot.

venezuela's economy crashed due to oil price falling dipshits so good try

...

smarter regulations = less corruption, not more corruption

it failed because of socialism

1/10 troll

>2016
>Colbert Report

Old people suck at memes

>smarter regulations

that's a stupid thing to says

i was for dumb regulations, but now that you say "smart regulation" I changed my mind DURRR

The running series either the DNC threatened him or someone close to him, or he was truly afraid of trump and knew the fix was in so he bit the bullet with Clinton

don't know about the other ones but Germany has a minimum wage - so does the UK and Australia

Dude, our country is way more socialist than Venezuela in certain respects, we use way more tax dollars on things like education and our military and local communities than they do in Venezuela but somehow our country isn't a failed state yet? "Socialism" isn't why they failed. You can have socialism without having an insanely corrupt government. BTW, US government is frequently ranked the most corrupt of all modern nations, including Sweden and Switzerland where they have dem. socialism

Somebody want to translate that filename for a lazy shit?

you live in Cuba or North Korea?

Youjustlostthegame

Makes no sense, user.

>heritage foundation
>conservative think tank funded by Koch brothers

we'll see about that, friend

because they have unions that negotiate for a living wage, but free-market capitalists break up unions in this country. this whole thread is full of misinformation and retards.

wow you are stupid... its not necessarily the regulations that are corrupt, it is the people enforcing the regulations too.
But when you give a government that kind of power, they are going to take every bit they can from you and you will have no recourse.

Thanks, newfag!

But at the same time, when our government doesn't have enough power and doesn't regulate Wallstreet and lets them do whatever the fuck they want, of course they're going to fuck over consumers and make as much money as possible. That's not competition, that's oligarchy. No regulations at all = we all get fucked by the rich and corrupt

you got a problem with facts and data? LOL!

You don't even understand the implications of the data you linked, retard. "More economic freedom" does not mean higher standard of living for the average citizen. It means huge corporations have more freedom to pay slave wages and generally take a giant shit on the working class.

Why do you people love getting fucked in the ass by the big corporations? I'll never understand

wow, more class warfare.
things only have power when they are given power.
if wall street is going to be corrupt, then they get what is coming to them.. economic unsustainability has a way of self correcting without the government's corrupting influence.
And.. we should also let the government do whatever it wants and take as much money from people as they like? becuase thats what you seem to be arguing.

You know the real driver of class warfare? The 1% that is hoarding 99% of all the wealth in the country. It didn't used to be that way, and nobody talked about "class warfare". It's totally justified to bring up the massive transfer of wealth that's taken place in the last few decades. That's not class warfare, that's just rational discussion

good one

>"More economic freedom" does not mean higher standard of living for the average citizen.

YES IT FUCKING DOES
READ THE DATA!
LOOK AT THE FACTS!

Why do you hate freedom and prosperity?
Why do you hate facts?

Big corporations are the result of governments you goon. smaller government means less buddy-buddy favours for billionaires

if you are an amercian, by default you are part of the 1%.

>wallstreet will get what is coming to them

And who do you expect is going to hold them accountable? Do you want to ask nicely to hold themselves accountable? Tell me how that works out for you

american*

this

All "more economic freedom" means is less regulations on what corporations and consumers can do. Less regulation DOES NOT mean higher standard of living.

Bernie endorsing Clinton is like if occupy Wallstreet endorsed the Goldman Sachs.
He's a sellout with no principles.
I wanted him to run against Trump, and he would have won.
But at this point I would want Trump to win on the principle of the matter.

economic cycles hold them accountable.
corrupt shit will burn itself out if left to itself, people will catch on and not give them their money.
if anything, government influence perpetuates corruption because theres kickbacks in both directions.

> confusing income equality with standard of living

the standard of living in the west has never been higher in world history by every measurable metric.

The mob of angry peasants probably. But more importantly, the business they've been building for the past 200 years

Big corporations are the result of government allowing them to create monopolies and price gouge the shit out of their consumer base while not being held accountable. How many wallstreet CEOs went to jail for crashing the economy? oh right, ZERO

You know he lied, right?

more regulations means more buddy-buddy favours for billionaires

Why do you people love getting fucked in the ass by the big corporations and big government?

You need to start using facts and logic to come to your conclusions

in a free market, monopolies cannot form, it is government intervention that gives unfair advantages and creates monopolies.

Yes, buddy-buddy favors will happen when you elect people (like Trump) who will do whatever the CEOs want them to do.

You can't sit here and tell me the system is doomed to fail because it's too corrupt all the while electing people who would sell us out in .2 seconds.

I can't tell if you're trolling or not. Less regulations means lower barriers of entry to industry, this means more competition, this means the consumer has more power regarding whom accepts their money, which means each business is more sensitive to consumer sentiment.

Now. How do you think consumers would feel if they realised their bank was fucking them over, especially when there is an ethical choice just down the road?

Stop being stupid, please.

big corporations love regulations because regulations disproportional hurt small businesses

I know how to solve gov't corruption.
Give the gov't more power and taxes. That will solve it, trust me

If you believe this, you are a living retard

/thread

big corps have lobbyists, and make the government slam the door shut on opportunities they had to make them big so they can stifle competition via the govt strongarm.

Read

I'm not a fan of Trump.
I'm just pointing out that big corporations benefit from regulations at the expense of small businesses

If you voted for Trump, the man who sold out the department of education to the highest bidder, the man who will pass whatever legislation the lobbyists and CEOs want, you've no standing to complain about government corruption. You are the won vouching for and voting for the people selling you out.

lol must be nice to live in a bubble

ahh, here come the ad hominems.

no facts, no links, just insults.

>thats when you know you won.

i'd fuck berne

Stop sucking the states title, goon.

It's not that difficult to pick up a book on how the economy works.

congratulations
you won a debate on the internet!

False equivalence. If you say "The sky is red' it's not ad hominem for me to call you a retard, you're just WRONG

WHAT IS THIS PICTURE OF BLACK GIRLS GETTING COZY WITH TRUMP. THIS DOES NOT PLAY INTO THE MEDIA'S STORY OF REALITY.

SHUT
IT
DOWN

Clearly I do not.

Mmm, just think of his loose, old man ass hole.

and now we start with the rabbit trails.

where were we again?

>or he was truly afraid of trump

jesus christ what a fucking pussy
i don't want a gaping vagina as president
inb4 but but trump is going to nuke the world

nigga please, grow up

Less regulation does not mean easier entry to industry if it's a regulation that prevents big corporations from creating an environment that allows only them to thrive at the expense of smaller businesses. That's why you have multiple businesses that provide the same service and can compete with each other. If you take away this environment and allow one big corporation to provide all the services the 100's of smaller businesses provide, that's great foundation for oligarchy

I fucking remember the Paris terror attack and his fucking campaign didn't want to talk about it during the debate with Clinton. When you're a president Shit is gonna happen. you can't schedule terror attacks on a Tuesday so it can be easy for you to talk about. fucking christ.

"economic cycles" what the fuck are you talking about? None of that even remotely makes sense

maybe he means the business cycle?

omg, he doesnt even know about booms and busts... we are trying to argue with someone that doesnt know basic economics...

/abandon thread.

Dude no, one of the biggest barriers to entry are legal regulations which cost thousands if not hundreds of thousands to go through before one gets approval.

I actually work professionally on this shit. I actually know what I'm talking about.

Why don't you grace us all with your advance understanding of the economy? How is Trump nominating Betsy Devos to sec. of Education when she clearly has NO experience in the area but has donated nearly 200 million dollars to Republicans in her lifetime NOT an example of government selling you out? You voted for somebody who is selling you out, there's no way around it

tbh fair the boom and the bust is referred to business cycles. not economic cycles.

So, if there are so many of these useless regulations in place that are costing small businesses thousands of dollars needlessly, why don't you name some of them? You're a professional, after all

"establishment" is such a useless term. It doesn't have any actual meaning.

All I said was don't expect the corporations to hold themselves accountable after crashing the economy. Please tell me how the changing of economic cycles will put corrupt CEOs in jail

Did you expect anything else than post-ironic shitposting?

>no response for 15 minutes

BTFO

That's not my line of work. I measure the effect of regulations in terms of market entry within a specific industry segment.

The start up costs, not including necessary operational parts, is ridiculous in some industries.

And you are a full blown faggot cocksucker.

Fucking lmao

Literally seething with butthurt

capitalism is easy to get rich. if you're poor it's by choice
