>"Removal" is a short EP of disposable compositions created using loops meant to be played as an addition to the background noise rather than a foreground experience. The loops are stylized in order to provide an elegant vignette and a proper soundscape to the overall ambiance. An addition rather than a whole. Experience intensifies at the evenings. epiglottis.bandcamp.com/album/removal
This EP is a concept of sorts in the sense that I have added short stories to each of them to tie them all together-- they're cringey; but I mostly tried producing a story of sorts with each individual song through the melodies and soundscapes. No they do not fit history, this isn't meant to fit history, this is my own creation.
Don't know hip-hop so let me share you my story...
Did you said that your music is "alternative"? Yeah, no. At least not from what I've heard. The usage of trap hi-hats kills the fun for me on "hurt". Basically a pointless filler not because it's inherently bad but it lacks a bit of a variety. I suggest you step up your beats game because it lacks an arm and a half. It, of course, comes with time. The production is quite OK, nothing major. Just wishing your stuff would be more than midly interesting to me. It seems like it could be as well buried in all other SC hip-hop beat creators out there, you know?
What can I possibly say about thing so short? The atmosphere provided is cool. Umm... The production is fine. I would take that cover for myself. Not so much a fan of beats. Again, a bit monotonous for me, not varied enough. i guess that comes out because of the length of the track itself, you know? Maybe try to expand your ideas, evolve them, make them more interesting and such.
Oh, an orchestral dood! Yup, "Baroque Orchestra" alright. I don't know about this one. It's baroque, yeah. Why is it so short? Why is it so jumbled together? I have hard time really going back to it. Sure, there are things happening here but not many that really matter in the long run. I would say that the mixing is a bit off but, you know, it does it's job on such a short track. "Unsettling" isn't my cup of tea once these MIDI-esque trumpets are coming in. I assume it's your own compositions? If so - I would try to find a different tool to make the instrument sounds. Maybe less artificial.

I do Industrial Hip-Hop for the most part, but I like to dabble into noise when I need to. Industrial Hip Hop Project (this is the most recent song I did, check it out, you might like it)
Mostly influenced by Death Grips, Aphex Twin, Reznor, Black Flag, clipping, BLACKHANDPATH, Sunn O))), Whitehouse, among other stuff of course... I'll return feedback, like I always do. EP is about to be released, soooo, yeah.

Again, warning, I'm not an authority when it comes to hip-hop so take this an outsiders perspective. This is actually pretty good. Well, okay, beside few parts that annoy me. For one - why are you trying so much to sound like DG? I know it's your influence and such but, you know, we have DG. Where is your accent in all of this? Where is that special thing of yours to define you? Second - I don't like the singing sample around 1:30-1:40. I think it is unnecessary and it breaks a flow for me. A simple lower segment after such an intensive beginning would be much better. Thirdly - that fade out is a bit wonky to me - it doesn't really fade out to complete silence which may work for an album but not for a single track, you know? I do, however, appreciate a nice, intense samplework. This is not something I would listen to daily but could be a good listen from time to time.
