Maybe if you came to be a few years ago and asked about this you may get some decent replies for Opera.
But now this place is filled with stupid kids who know nothing of classical art/music.
I'm sure if you asked about tay tay or or some other faggy " artist " you get a million replies.
Sorry dude.
That's sad. I had high hopes
Journey to the west by Damon albarn and Jamie hewlett is pretty good
Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk by Dmitri Shostakovich
That's an interesting suggestion. Thank you. Didn't know about it before.
Google Puccini, never be dissappoint.
Just yesterday I went to see Borodin's Prince Igor. Not the best but enjoyable. The best one I've seen so far was this performance:
Dr atomic
Nixon in China
Susannah
Il mondo della luna - haydn
Les hugonotes - meyebeer
Any one from gluck or Mozart.
Also l'elissir d'amore from Donizzetti

Z mrtvého domu (From the House of the Dead) by Leoš Janáček is the best one I have ever heard
The Tender Land (Copland)
Look into the 3 famous Glass operas, specifically Einstein on the Beach. If you can make if through Wagner's Ring Cycle, it's fantastic. 16 hours tho.
götterdämmerung
I feel somewhat disappointed that I feel this way, but I've tried watching many operas, on youtube, mind, and it was impossible to both enjoy the singing and read the lyrics. If I didn't read the subtitles I wouldn't understand the story.
But I'm sure going to a theatre would be better. There's an entire experience to get out of it.
I liked Mozart's operas.
Don Giovanni.
The Magic Flute.

Anything by Verdi, but La Triviata is my favorite
High School Musical
>He says as he cums to "real music", realizing with a smug smile how much better he is than everyone else.
While at the same time you didn't offer o OP any suggestions. Funny.
