otherfag here, if I might get to chip in. I find noise music and Merzbow in particular just boring.

I have nothing against distorted music, but 1 hour of abrasive noise, no structure, no rythm, just a wall of glitched, stretchedmangled and distorted sounds just doesnt do anything for me other than wear my ears out and annoy me.

It's not exciting, it's not cutting edge and frankly, not that difficult to pull off.
