>9. The King of Limbs
>7, Amnesiac
fucking dropped it there, people who don't "get" those two Radiohead albums are complete plebs
give me a tl;dw
Sure, whatever you say user.
TKOL sucks
fatango proves again he's pleb
It's actually their third best behind Kid A and Amnesiac
Radiohead sucks
In Rainbows is better than fucking ITAOTS
>The Bends is 6th
FUCKING REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Yeah it should be 7th at best
>amnesiac 7th
>the bends 6th
I'm unironically mad about this shit.
How does he say these are the worst for being overrated/not sounding as grounbreaking as they used to, while putting OK Computer at the fucking top spot?
Also he complains that Push/Pullk Revolving Door is a repetitive electronic track but Fitter Happier is the exact same fucking thing but worse.
He tells you the top two in the background
>these orgasmic peaks of sonic bliss
top kek what did he mean by this?
If he does the Bjork best to worst like he said, I think I might have an aneurysm from how wrong his opinions are.
>In Rainbows and Pablo Honey
Weird choice, but okay
For anyone that doesn't wanna watch it:
9. The King of Limbs (somehow below Pablo)
8. Pablo Honey
7. Amnesiac
6. The Bends
5. Hail to the Thief!
4. A Moon Shaped Pool
3. Hid A what?
2. In Rainbows
1. Cliche
OK Computer>In Rainbows>Kid A>A Moon Shaped Pool>Hail to the Thief>Amnesiac>Pablo Honey>The King of Limbs
>he complains that Push/Pullk Revolving Door is a repetitive electronic track but Fitter Happier is the exact same fucking thing but worse.
They have practically nothing in common
>9. TKOL
fucking awful
Could've been worse.
1. Kid A
2. OK Computer
3. Amnesiac
POWER GAP
4. Hail to the Thief
5. In Rainbows
6. The King of Limbs
7. A Moon Shaped Pool
8. The Bends
9. Pablo Honey
>Hail to the Thief!
Use your indoor voice, you madman.
They're both repetitive electronic tracks where the main focus is Thom reading out short phrases or words. Granted Fitter Happier has more meaning behind the words, but structurally and sonically they're very similar. I don't know how you can make one track into a negative for the album as a whole, but not the other.
>3. Amnesiac
Tired of this meme
Pablo Honey is a great album
>getting big ideas
>2017
I just like seeing AMSP get so much love
>They're both repetitive electronic tracks
Fitter Happier isn't, it's a piano solo.
>where the main focus is Thom reading out short phrases or words.
Thom doesn't speak on Fitter Happier, it's a text-to-speech program. I guess this is nitpicking though.
>Granted Fitter Happier has more meaning behind the words, but structurally and sonically they're very similar.
Fitter Happier is less repetitive and generally less shit-sounding.
Pulk/Pull is scary
Relistened to this again yesterday after a few months break. Still really beautiful.
Glad he ranked Amnesiac and Bends low. TKOL is the ultimate contrarian album. Amnesiac is literally b sides that don't even sound half as good. The Bends is their most overrated album.
IR>KidA>OKC>MSP>Amnesiac>HTTT>TB>TKOL>PH
Kid A > OKC > Amnesiac > AMSP > The Bends = In Rainbows >>>>> HTTF >>>>>> TKOL > Pablo Honey
>it's a piano solo.
It can't be since there are vocals
>TKOL better than AMSP/The Bends
just because everyone jokes that its good doesn't mean you have to believe them, user.
The King of Limbs is a brilliant album and much better than In Rainbows, which is the worst Radiohead album since The Bends
Pablo Honey sucks ass
the only thing I'm mad about is TKOL placement and not mentioning Daydreaming
didn't this faggot say that kid A is his favourite recird when he reviewed it?
youtube.com
Yep. he is going against his own words. He is either lying or changed his position which he will never admit ofc, and he will never change on MBDTF.
COMPLETE HACK
If you watch his Kid A review he says that he prefers it to OK Computer
youtu.be
Dunno my man, I think Pull/pullk is better and I think melon man is a hypocrite.
He's a vegan, can't expect him to have sound, consistent reasoning.
>people aren't allowed to change their minds, ever!
In Rainbows
OK Computer
Kid A
The Bends
Moon Shaped Pool
Hail to the Theif
Amnesiac
TKOL
Pablo Honey
OK Computer
In Rainbows
Kid A
A Moon Shaped Pool
The Bends
Amnesiac
TKOL
Hail To The Thief
Pablo Honey
>implying OKC isn't even in the top 3
>implying OKC is worse than TKOL
Are you sure you even like Radiohead?
I totally agree about amnesiac - it's a crappy album with 3 good songs
OK Computer is number 4, Electioneering is a horrible song, I can't say the same for any track from either Amnesiac, Kid A nor TKOL
This
>Electioneering is a horrible song
Why?
Other than you were 7 years old when the album came out.
>7. Amnesiac
Anyone who watches this guy unironically is a mental midget.
Yes, Electioneering quite is bad. That doesn't make OKC worse than TKOL. You're being autistic and contrarian and you know it.
OK Computer
Kid A
A Moon Shaped Pool
Hail To The Thief
The Bends
In Rainbows
The King of Limbs
Amnesiac
Pablo Honey
Sorry Plebs
Ok plebs, time to get learnt. OBJECTIVE RANKING COMING THROUGH
1. Kid A
2. OK Computer
3. The Bends
4. In Rainbows
5. Moon Shaped Pool
6. Hail to The Thief
7. Amnesiac
8. The King of Limbs
9. Pablo Honey
I think a common theme in this thread is that people are putting The Bends much higher than memethony
Alright everyone, here is the only 100% objectively correct ranking of Radiohead albums
1. Pablo Honey
2. The Bends
3. OK Computer
4. Kid A
5. Amnesiac
6. Hail to the Thief
7. In Rainbows
8. The King of Limbs
9. A Moon Shaped Pool
I agree with him on The King of Limbs. The studio version just sounds boring but it really comes to life in the live version.
That's because The Bends is a genuinely good album, and Anthony Fantano is a bigger contrarian than a collective of autistic faggots on a Taiwanese tapestry chat room.
Amnesiac is great, it has hardly any filler, some of their best standout tracks and the most interesting and unique atmosphere of any Radiohead album.
The first half is pretty decent whereas AMSP is mediocre the whole way through and The Bends just completely sucks apart from three or four songs.
Superior tastes coming through
1 - OK Computer
2 - In Rainbows
3 - Kid A
4 - Amnesiac
5 - The King of Limbs
6 - A Moon Shaped Pool
7 - The Bends
8 - Hail to the Thief
9 - Pablo Honey
>#1 OKC
>contrarian
?
Anyone who cares about your opinion is a complete pleb
But Amnesiac is bad because people on Sup Forums like it and I don't want to agree with them.
Point out the part of my post where I implied that.
switch 5 and 6 my dude
Kid A
OKC ~ Amnesiac
In Rainbows ~ AMSP
HTTT
The Bends
TKOL ~ Pablo Honey
Of course. The Bends is not an ambitious or highly original album, it is somewhat of a standard 90s indie rock album, but its the absolute pinnacle of standard 90s indie rock. Its consitently perfect, every song could be a single. Its one of the albums i feel compelled to listen to all the way through every time I hear it. Not a weak moment on it desu
I almost want to agree with this
Even some of the actual singles from the Bends are shit-tier
you're actually right user. first post nails it.
thanks pitchfork xD
Like what?
No
For real this time, here's the correct ranking:
Kid A
Amnesiac
In Rainbows
The Bends
OK Computer
A Moon Shaped Pool
The King of Limbs
Hail to the Thief
Pablo Honey
High & Dry, Fake Plastic Trees, Street Spirit
A true patrician ranks albums by their Scrabble score:
>The King of Limbs - 29
>Hail to the Thief - 26
>A Moon Shaped Pool - 25
>OK Computer - 20
>Pablo Honey - 20
>In Rainbows - 15
>The Bends - 14
>Amnesiac - 12
>Kid A - 9
What if Kid A was over a triple word square and connected to another word from before?
If TKOL isn't in your top five Radiohead albums, you know fuck all
Counterpoint: Those are all good songs and you're wrong.
Wow very contrarian. Everyone is really impressed
The only system that is objective in its ranking.
His Kanye rankings were interesting. Was surprised his favorite is The College Dropout
Kid A
OK Computer
Amnesiac
AMSP
The Bends
In Rainbows
HTTT
TKOL
Pablo Honey
His entire critique is predicated on how "CUTTING EDGE" each album is
And yet he still has Amnesiac in 7th, when it sounds more unique than most of their discography.
fuck you, nerd
gtfo
nice meme
this is wrong. amnesiac is a bad album and okc is better than kid a
youtu.be
way to stick to your opinions my man
radiohead's most important =/= his favorite
yeah but he literally says that okc is his favourite
Dude I was just telling people the order in the video to save them 20 minutes.
this must be the worst fucking Radiohead ranking I have ever seen in my entire time on the internet
1. In Rainbows
2. Kid A
3. OKC
4. TKOL
5. AMSP
6. Amnesiac
7. HTTT
8. Pablo Honey
9. The Bends
There are 362,880 possible ways to rank Radiohead's LPs, we don't need yet another fucking thread where everyone gives theirs
theyre all bad

2. In Rainbows
3. HTTT
4. Kid A
5. OKC
6. TKOL
7. Amnesiac
...
8. Pablo Honey
9. The Bends
i'm ok with everything except his placement of amnesiac
fucking love that album man, don't know how he could basically reduce it to sounding "incomplete." i feel like that's a small and intentional part of the album, it's cool as fuck
I think he hasn't actually spent much time listening to Amnesiac. Some of his opinions are straight up retarded. Pyramid song is shit? Pulk/Pull sounds like shit? You and whose army is laughably bad?
And he didn't even mention like spinning plates or life in a glass house.
so just a show of hands does anyone on here actually agree with the melon?
The moment Fantano lost all musical credibility
>Kid A number 1
It's literally just boring rock music with fart synths strewn throughout
Is everyone in this thread retarded or just underage?
HE LITERALLY EXPLAINED IT TO YOU. HUNTING BEARS IS LITERALLY A SMALL GUITAR PIECE, PULK PULL IS SAME REPETATIVE SHIT TOO, PYRAMID SONG IS SAME 3 CHORDS OVER AND OVER.
ITS NOT THAT THEY'RE """BAD""" BUT THEY'RE JUST LEFTOVERS THAT DIDN'T WENT ANYWHERE.
If you think thats good, OK, but you can easily say its objectivly unfinished and bad.
