Clemson's in a big college football market

>Western Carolina isn't a major market for football

M8

Who gets to play us in the Birmingham Bowl?

>tfw I've been at a retreat all weekend
LGTSS
>THIS IS OUR YEAR
>FLORIDA IS DEAD A DEAD MAN WALKING
>TENNECHOKE WILL WIN THE EAST
South Fucking Carolina-Florida eternal fucking broship confirmed
Repeat after me the eternal hymn of the Big Orange Nation: IF NOT NOW WHEN?!?!?!?!?!?!?
Also:
>Florida State got wrekeked by Notre Dame of all schools
>Gators prove dominance of meme: the team Georgia
God is good y'all

Fuck off. FSU is still the best team in the state.

Its not about whether they like college football, its only bout how many people live there. The Big Ten decided to add the DC and NY markets, two of the biggest in the country, which allowed the BTN to go on basic cable there so every single cable subscriber is paying the Big Ten a monthly fee regardless of how little they give a shit about NCAA football

That's stupid
But Clemson would have never joined the Big Yankee Conference anyways

probably some equally shitty ACC team

Current amount of Top 25 teams per conference (Top 10):

SEC: 5 (3)
B1G: 5 (4)
ACC: 5 (2)
PAC: 4 (1)
XII: 4
MAC: 1
MWC: 1

B1G SPEED

You literally just lost yesterday.

1) Gators
2) Bulls
3) Semen-Holes
4) >Canes
5) Knights
.
.
9001/2) FAU/FIU PICK 'EM

No minor conference team have been able to resist Big Ten money

To me it just comes down to the fact that I can't watch my favorite team any more than maybe 3 times a year without paying hundreds of dollars, and switching to another provider who absolutely rapes you in charges on the second year of the contract. The NFL is pretty much forcing me to not give as much of a shit, whereas I can watch every single game my favorite college football team plays every season.

maybe you should root for the home team instead of bandwagonning a team from another region

We beat the Bulls a few weeks ago you fucking retard.

>ACC loses Baltimore/DC market
>Gains New York, Western Pennsylvania, and Notre Dame markets.

Really lost out on that deal...

Clemson totally would
The AD rejected the Big XII when that was gonna be worth more than the ACC

>Losing to UNC

I'm from Michigan but moved to Kentucky when I was 18. I'm a fan of sports teams I grew up watching where I'm from, and not a bandwagoner. If I was I surely wouldn't be a fucking Lions fan lmao.

Do people really care about Syracuse?

the ACC doesn't have a network on basic cable, so its not really comparable

Even if they had a network they wouldn't have the negotiating power with the cable providers that the Big Ten has

Also, lol at the "Notre Dame market" Notre Dame has their own TV deal

The ACC is getting one
And they have a partnership with a network like the big ten does
And what they get from Notre Dame is still valuable

tamu

Could meme magic allow UK to defeat Georgia this weekend?

Is it really fucking possible?

And then UT too?

The meme magic is real

>tfw you went from the best team in the world to being exceptionally happy that you sneak into winning the worst division in college football in just ten years

you guys are sad

i really don't us to lose to the frenchie swamp faggots again.

>And what they get from Notre Dame is still valuable
A little, but you are overselling it quite a bit. Obviously a major conference would never put up with that bullshit though
>The ACC is getting one
Yeah, only 12 years too late as people are starting to ditch cable

Current Average Win Percentage of Each Conference:

AAC: .576
ACC: .607
XII: .551
B1G: .598
USA: .449
MAC: .490
MWC: .510
PAC: .571
SEC: .609
SBC: .452

If Georgia can lose to Vandy they can certainly lose to Kentucky

...

feels bad man

AAC please save us from this awful conference

thats not a very useful stat as ACC and SEC teams still allow games against FCS teams, and have fewer conference games allowing for an extra cupcake game

meme magic is a powerful drug

withdrawal is worse than hell

just look at tennessee

>buttgers is a quality opponent

...

anyone else getting connection errors?

At least Rutgers won their cupcake games

So... the Pac-12 is the best conference?

Or how do we interpret this?

If Ohio State beats Michigan, does that mean Bama vs Ohio State & Clemson vs Washington?

yes

Overall maybe
It's hard to tell

The ACC has like 6 Rutgers tier teams

GET FUCKED FSU!

Also anyone know of a good site to watch movies at? I don't feel like torrenting anything since I got busted a couple months back and TWC put me on probation.

No, because OSU would probably lose to Wisconsin in the B10CG

thedaretelly dot com

Netflix

cunt

Current Net Points Per Conference:

>AAC: 535 (3224-2689)
>ACC: 718 (3479-2761)
>XII: 400 (2734-2334)
>B1G: 636 (3304-2668)
>USA: -206 (3240-3446)
>MAC: -43 (2905-2948)
>MWC: 0 (2899-2899)
>PAC: 448 (3223-2775)
>SEC: 740 (3356-2616)
>SBC: -408 (2084-2492)

#FearTheTalons

Just P5:
1 SEC-WEST
2 PAC-12(NORTH)
3 PAC-12(SOUTH)
4 BIG 12
5 ACC-ATLANTIC
6 BIG TEN-EAST
7 ACC-COASTAL
8 BIG TEN-WEST
9 SEC-EAST

>SEC East is worse

You don't need advanced metrics to tell you that. Not when the top 2 teams are Florida and KENTUCKY

Winning %age Against AP Ranked Opponents:

AAC: .214
ACC: .259
XII: .143
B1G: .250
USA: .000
MAC: .000
MWC: .200
PAC: .136
SEC: .333
SBC: .077

And people give the ACC shit. If anything the ACC is the only conference that's trying to close the gap on the SEC.

I just want /cfb/ to know how weird this season has been for us
We were expected to win at Auburn for the first time in 55 years (0-6), at Georgia Tech for the first time in 13 years (0-5), and at Florida State for the first time in 10 years (0-4) was weird in itself
And seeing it all happening is more unbelievable
Have >we made it?

Rocky top looking rocky

twitter.com/cammashburn/status/792875604572078080

Why?

FSU isn't better than OU, and Ohio State trashed them

FCS Winning Percentages:

SKY: .491
BSC: .510
CAA: .520
IVY: .500
MAAC: .376
MVC: .549
NEC: .466
OVC: .446
PAT: .456
PFL: .489
SoCon: .548
SLD: .456
SWAC: .403

Because they lost to Will fucking Muschamp

Will Muschamp is a based coach. This time he has a good offensive coordinator and some good young talent on that side of the ball. We will win a natty under Muschamp, cap this.

>Quitting the team because you lost

What a bunch of bitches.

>Chickens
>Winning anything worth while

We won a bunch of bowls under Steve Spurrier

>Floppycocks
>Being of value

Can't wait to beat you at the end of the season to prepare for the ACCCG.

Another 5-peat starts this year. Cap this.

At this point, you'll be lucky if last year wasn't the start of another 7-peat.

>tfw 1 vote in coaches poll
w-we did it boys

You're literally retarded and now I know to never take anything you say seriously. So thank you for that.

>Notable 0-1 Loss
Shouldn't it just be "1 Loss?" Is Troy really notable?

If we lose (which won't happen) this will be three in a row.

>the team that has literally played the most freshmen in the nation doesn't have a chance to go undefeated in the SEC East, win a fluke game against Bama in the SEC championship and roll through the playoffs like any SEC team would
Lol

Yes, we're beating Bama to win the Natty in the rematch! Book it, cap it, and for all you Clemson haters you can go fuck yourselves.

>tfw your team hasn't won a natty since the 30s

They've lost to Kentucky and Georgia. They won't win the East.

>can barely beat NC State
>we can beat bama

...

>tfw top 5 offense in the nation
but then
>tfw bottom 5 passing defense in the nation

Would be undefeated if we didn't have CBs that were 5'0" and could actually cover and LBs that could defend a pass

Michigan is expanding. is this a sign?

Western Michigan is still unbeaten.

>tamu and tech taking over
wew la it's happening

>Cherokee
????

There must have been a rebellion

IKTFB

abenaki overthrew BC too

Not this year baka. We have as good a chance as any next year with Skai moore, Jake Bentley and all our offensive playmakers returning.

This was meant for
Reee

I just saw the intro to Clemson-FSU
That is cringey as fuck
>"Clemson-Florida State has long been one of the great conference rivalries"
1. Are they rivals? Does Florida State care about Clemson?
2. It's been a very lopsided series so how is it that great
There's been like 3 or 4 relevant games?

What game is this?

They didn't until recently. They're calling it "great" because since the Jimbo/Dabo era the winner has gone on to win the ACC. It'll go back to being incredibly one sided within a few years.

>They're calling it "great" because since the Jimbo/Dabo era the winner has gone on to win the ACC.
The winner has won the Atlantic 7 straight and the ACC 5 straight
but still that's not a real rivalry

The lopsidedness came during that period when Hatfield, West, and Bowden was coach at Clemson
During the 80s it might have been closer

Also
>"long been one of the great conference rivalries"
>Show highlights from when it was a non-conference game

Kiffin to Tennessee part 2. Electric Boogaloo

P5 fags are asleep, let the G5 posting begin. Let's do some C-USA projections.

>tfw Southern Miss set to coast until Nov. 25
>tfw LA Tech has to play the two upstart Texas schools in back-to-back weeks, playing UNT on the road

Who else here coasting to their CCG?
>no P5 cucks

>longest winning streak in the conference
feels good man

gonna be up to 10 games by season end hopefully

If A&M makes the Sugar Bowl, they're going to skull fuck any Big 12 team they face, right?

Between UNT and UTSA, you'll end up with at least one more conference loss. These are facts.

lol no. Oklahoma will remind them what its like t play a competent offense and why they were always the red headed step child of the Big 12. Aggies BTFO.
