Thoughts on Ween?
They're good live
Happy Colored Marbles is a good song
very bad. not as bad as weezer or mac demarco but sort of on the same level as them. atleast they don't take themselves seriously
Why are there so many fucking Ween threads lately? Has there been a normie raid here?
the pod is a great album
one of my favourite bands
>ween
>normie
not bad, would like them more if they were gay
In the sense that normies come here, see other Ween threads, try listening to them, and post these threads.
The Pod is the greatest album ever recorded.
ok. just ok.
More like has beans.
Just got Quebec today (it's my second after The Mollusk), and it's crazy how consistently well-written, odd, and high quality all their songs are.
Quebec has a lot of filler
Chocolate & Cheese next.
best ween album
>fun ween
The Pod
>serious ween
Quebec
Quebec is the only serious album.
>fun ween
White Pepper
>serious ween
White Pepper
name one filler track in Quebec that isn't The Fucked Jam
So Many People in the Neighborhood
I like them. I still haven't listened to most of their discography. Godweensatan is (mostly) terrible though, it shows that they did it for fun and while high
Alcan Road, Captain, Tried and True, Among His Tribe, It's Gonna Be a Long Night.
those are all some of the best tracks wtf
bump
Agreed, The Fucked Jam is the only weak track on the album and it's still not complete shit, the track would've benefited a whole lot from being a minute shorter though.
Tried getting a friend into Ween. He listened to all of their albums once and only liked the Mollusk. He is pretty normie so I thought he'd like White Pepper or Quebec but apparently not.
Some of their albums take more than one listen.
At least he got through all of them.
He's actually patrician.
Happy Colored Marbles is unironically my favorite song on Quebec
Yea what the shit is this, Captain is the only song that I could see being kind of filler but even that is a great song.
true
Live versions are great, but the studio version is bland as fuck.
user is right.
Ween is a band where their live shows are just as important as their studio albums. They kind of take a jam band approach, where they change their setlists every night and make every show unique musically.
