What would happen if Trump actually did as he promised and took Canada back?

I guess the Canadians would understand that resistance would just be a symbolic suicide, and then they would just welcome us as liberators

That's some nice b8

1812 mate.

that is: this bait was 1812/10

...

back...

He couldnt take shit, Canada still belongs to our mighty queen! We create all you amerifags too, fuck knows why

I think war of 1812 is actually on the automobile plates of either Maryland or DC. Thats awkward

holy fuck, did canada actually invade us? i have seen that picture, but i thought it was a joke like pic related

why did we never learn anything about this in school?

cuz muh freedoms, and the whole murica best attitude that is prevalent. Can't let them kids know that the USA actually lost a war.

The better question is why did you stop learning once you left school. Feel free to google if canada ever invaded us, instead of seeing a picture that someone posted and assuming it means that canada invaded us. Americans have no curiosity. It's not surprising they're so fucking illiterate/innumerate/ignorant.

Lost? Can't remember a time they "won" one..

Take it back? We were never part of America.

Nor can I, but if you read pretty much any american propaganda, they'd have you believing every single war since WW2 has been a victory for the US, including Vietnam and the shitshow that has been the middle east for the past 20 years.

You speak true and wise words!

Well America won the southern and potomac theatres, Britain won on the border

To be fair, Confederation didn't happen in Canada until 1867 so technically, the Brits invaded. As well, I'm pretty sure the southern half (up to the 54th parallel?) in British Columbia used to be American territory.

to be fair, you can almost be sure that the wars continue because they're still profitable for someone or because some other opaque long-term goal is being pursued. I'm not exactly a fan of US Imperialism, but you just know the US could win almost any war easily if it was simply about eliminating the enemy at any cost, without nukes that is

Even then the full might of the US military was not brought to bear. Leaders on both sides were trying to quell the fighting, not intice it to continue.

Also, look up war games, invasion of canada. US completes it in less than 24 hours YEARLY. Canada has never won, nor stopped us an inch...

I wouldn't give a fuck if the US invaded. I'd be all like gimme muh green card, biscuits and gravy, yo.

That will never happen buddy. For what it's worth, you canucks are alright, and trailer park boys is a treasure of the american continent.

You did forgot about vietnam and irak war wich weren't really great success.

It won't be long before Letterkenny is better known than TPB.
I just want to be able to buy a bottle of rum and some Peanut Butter Cap'n Crunch at the corner store.

Funny, we discuss it in Canadian history for about 2 days

Americans invaded Quebec, Quebec went EH WHAT THE FUCK and every Canadian solider in the area beat them back across the border to Washington so hard that we burned down your white house and left.

This was before Canada was a federation iirc but it was the same people from the same land.

How is Vietnam recounted in American history classes? As a success or a failure? Or both?

we won because we went to war to stop communism from spreading and communism did spread

Annnnnnnd thanks for the new show. lol

Side story, been watchng TPB for way too long. Decided to oder "zesty mortants" off the net to try them sense they weren't at the time available. Loved them, but they were too expensive to import often. Fast forward to now, that shit is in almost every store in america. lol maybe peanut butter cap'n crunch will head north.

I thought it was to keep communism from spreading to Siam (Thailand) but it didn't anyway.

>we went to war to stop x but x continued anyway

So, you agree that you lost? Or that the war was useless?

We wnt over it quite a bit.

Factors discussed are:

Moral ambiguity
Impact of the Television broadcast of a war (this is why we left)
Shitty ass "kill them and let them back on that hill we just took" strategy.

It's not so much known as a 'loss' then as a failure to win. Everything was lined up, we just pulled punches. It also didn't help that Russia backed Nam, and we had just somewhat recently had an excursion with the Chinese in korea.

Basically, it's viewed as to win Nam, you have to go to WW3.

The mistake was to invade Nam, not losing militarily.

PB Cap'n Crunch used to be here then it disappeared, probably due to some obscure food and drug regulation. This is one of the downfalls of a socialist country: over-regulation of fucking everything. I always like traveling to the US where the rule of law isn't so prevalent.

>took Canada back
wat

Their women are fat snow pigs. No way Trump captures and subjagates Canada.

>communism did spread
communism didn't spread
