There honestly isn't one. I still listen to this fairly regularly since it was released. Never gets tiring.
Hope Freddie and Madlib do work together again. Clearly the best rapper/producer combination in hip hop.

If you consider the time span of 10 years from the release of the album Madvillainy could be a arguably better.
Considering 10 years from now I don't see any rap album being better (you excluded Kendrick, I personally thing TPAB is even better)
There are strong contenders like Atrocity Exhibition, Exmilitary and some others but Piñata really stands out as the best one, thus I agree with OP 100%

I'm a huge boom-bap/golden era Stan and I will forever defend Rakim, Big Daddy Kane and Kool G Rap as the greatest, but I've been listening to Piñata for 3 years consistently loving it more and more with each listen. And although I don't think Freddie is anywhere near top 10 (yet), I genuinely think Piñata is one of the best rap albums. Ever. Maybe even THE best rap album. It's perfect.
