I don't have a chart, but I like a lot of French metal. I'm guessing you know, and if not you should check out: Peste Noire, Deathspell Omega, Blut aus Nord and the better bands from Les Légions Noires (Mütiilation, Belkètre, Vlad Tepes, and my personal favorite, Aäkon Këëtrëh).
Nehëmah is really good, specifically their album Light of a Dead Star
Epheles is less known, but their album Le dernier pardon is wonderful.
Dor-Nu-Fauglith by Osculum Infame is also kinda becoming a classic.
