Yeah, they are horribly overpriced. I do believe they are good guitars, but come on. I'm not paying that kind of money for a fucking guitar.
I actually have a ~$6-700 Fender Stratocaster, and that actually sounds pretty fucking good in its stock configuration.

It is a made in Mexico strat, so yeah, maybe.
But you know, so long as it sounds good and all that. 6-700 dollars really isn't a bad price for a good guitar where I live.

I fully agree with that, actually. The bigger brands will fade away, because as marketing and production has gotten easier, much thanks to the internet,
more and more smaller companies actually have a chance in hell at success now. And those companies usually make great products too, because they actually tend to give a flying fuck about their work.
