Distracting myself from my inclination to be an hero, debate me while I contemplate ending it.

I am a right-wing libertarian that supports for the abolition of parliament in the UK.

prove it faggot

>supports
I see.

What makes you think people will peacfully engage in a society they are not forced into?

But can anything be objectively proved?

Brains aren't like databases where information can be extracted and queried, we are complex beings. How I'm supposed to prove that I am depressed is beyond me. Well, apart from my presence of Sup Forums, which is evidence enough that I'm pretty fucking far gone.

Engagement in civilisation is, and should be, voluntary.

nah dog we're just in a simulated reality everything is >3 dimensions until we observe it our consciousness isn't tied to our physical being so when you die you'll finally get out

Religion is quintessentially human, emotionally manipulative in order to propagate an individuals own views. Now we have billions of people believing that their beliefs are unquestionable, because they lack the mental maturity to question a doctrine that they baselessly believe in. Of course, people are entitled to believe this, and propagate religion, but it's a sad reflection that we have got to this point, with religions such as Christianity and Islam inflicting pain on millions.

That could indeed be the case. I could be anywhere in space right now, yet I perceive myself to be on this pathetic mass we call the Earth.

We live in an oligarchy. The people have no power, except to choose leaders which act on their own volition.

My girlfriend is probably going to break up with me when she gets home. She can't stand to see me like this. After that happens, I will have absolutely no reason to live.

YOU are multidimensional at least 4, right now you are limited to 3 dimensions who knows why maybe higher dimension you thought it would be fun like what if you played a video game but part of the video game is that you don't know you're playing a video game because that would ruin the fun no metagaming allowed

>YOU are multidimensional at least 4, right now you are limited to 3 dimensions who knows why maybe higher dimension you thought it would be fun like what if you played a video game but part of the video game is that you don't know you're playing a video game because that would ruin the fun no metagaming allowed

I will entertain this idea, since it is an interesting conjecture. If this were the case, how would you observe outside your perspective, considering the fact that we are unable to view outside our own perspectives.

> abolition of parliament in uk

Good luck finding enough people that dont want to live with the cozy form of government they have and discontinue their blissful ignorance

I never said that such an endeavour is feasible. Unfortunately, too many people are scared to instate pure democracy, and actually give themselves choices.

UK will be gone soon. North Ireland and Scotland will leave the union.

Thats because there are less "right-wing libertarians there, willing to destroy themselfes.

give it a go my man all of life is digital ones and zeros I'm serious

Ignoring the fact that freedom should not be equated to self-destruction; maybe the destruction of humanity would be beneficial for the world. Once we replace ourselves with AI, they can take care of the Earth legions better than we can. The Earth might have a chance at sustaining itself.

>youtube.com/watch?v=t5KIwIb-EWM

I'll watch it, because I have literally nothing else to do.

b youtube.com/watch?v=QTNsHgsUstw

I've watched it and it's pretty dull, probably heavily unsubstantiated anyways, or reliant on a very specific interpretation of mechanics, some shit like that.

Pretty lucky of him. I would be saying the converse if I were in that position, however.

To be fair, I was expecting several tankies and socialists to bombard me with criticism of my capitalistic, not laissez-faire, that's equally as bad as communism, beliefs.

>Christianity and Islam inflicting pain on million
Islam sure, but Christianity? Fundamentals can be problematic, but crazies come in all stripes.

Before anyone interjects with theological shite, I am both an atheist and an antitheist. The concept of a deity is utterly infeasible, and I refuse to get out of my depression by being ignorant to the world. I will keep you updated on if my girlfriend texts me, or not. She's probably just going to ignore me. She's still friends with my ex who was emotionally manipulative and turned me into the sort of cold person that I am today. What the fuck did I do to deserve this.

>Lolberg
Git right faggot

That is true. With Christianity, it isn't really violence, but rather psychological torment that occurs within church communities, due to views of homosexuality, transgenderism (I maintain the belief that this is a mental health issue, before anyone jumps in to call me an SJW), and infidelity as a whole. The problem, all in all, is the doctrines themselves, and the content of their affiliated holy texts. They depict values that are centuries old, with people interpreting them to be contemporary.

(this recaptcha shit is pissing me off now but oh well)

True, true.

hey man if you're depressed and legitimately want to kill yourself, have you consider trying drugs that make your mind go wonky?

not like heroin or cocaine but rather psychedelics

I'm not one to say don't become an hero, the choice is yours my guy. But I really think before you do, try some psychedelics,

I don't know if they will change your mind, I'm not even trying to imply they might.

But experiencing 4th dimensional space and the feelings that come with that are totally worth trying before you die.

Maybe I should be a politician. If a party who is pathetically nationalist enough to propose removing tax on fish and chips instead of anything that would assist society, can get millions of votes and a seat, I don't see why an anti-establishment candidate wouldn't be able to get at least some support.

I have no access to drugs. I don't have a bank account that I have access to, I don't have the balls to seek a local dealer, and I don't have any bitcoin.

It would be great if a llot of us committed suicide at the same time

Adding onto the above, I would definitely try something like DMT or LSD if I could, but my access is rather limited.

How so? It'd help the ongoing housing shortage I guess.

Just because I'd feel better as I died

You wouldn't feel anything, may I add.

Get a bank account and money dude, you're not allowed to be depressed if you don't have a job. Working a job is the most depressing thing you get to do in life!

this part is for both of you with your trouble with access to drugs:

[DELETETHISPART]eternityinabox.com/shop/hawaiian-acacia-confusa-root-bark/

get some of that and follow these instructions:

DMT is the most powerful / safest / cheapest / divine / extreme psychedelic known to man. And you can make yourself a years supply for like $100.

I'd like to add that this website (the first link) that sells the bark that dmt comes from, is COMPLETELY LEGAL.

It is voluntary. Feel free to live in the woods.
But so long as there are public goods that suffer from the free rider problem, which you benefit from, you MUST pay taxes.
Otherwise, we are all worse off.
Only the tremendously uneducated can object to mandatory taxes.

Do you think that income tax is a necessary "mandatory tax" ?
(not the person you replied to)

Don't quibble, I'm talking about leading up to it and going through with it

I do not object to taxes. As I said, I am not a laissez-faire capitalist. Taxes, to some extent, are required to keep governmental stability.

Aren't those American sites though? I really don't fancy paying an obscene amount of shipping, to just get it intercepted by customs or something.

there is no property in the world that is unowned, you're not actually free to go live in the woods unbothered

how do i organise myself into a collective with other people without some kind of governing body? how do we decide how to distribute our resources and labour power in a fair way? is the only alternative the market?

All taxes are "mandatory" taxes, income tax just happens to be the model most countries have chosen to get what we need. We could easily not have them but then sales/property tax would be ski high to compensate. Ultimately tax revenue would be about the same and overall the population would be paying the same, except sales taxes put more tax burden on poor people

I'd prefer to stay in education through university. I find school incredibly easy (what Americans would call an "A+" student, or what we'd call an A* student here), so I can afford to do nothing with my life as of yet.

Depends on where you live. In the US you can reside in national/state forest areas free of charge for as long as you want as long as you follow the appropriate laws.

Abolition of government would not be my intent. Rather, creating an open, fairer government based around principles of pure democracy. The lack of power people actually have is the primary thing that concerns me.

the second website just provides information.

The first website... well I would look into the law in your area regarding acacia confusa root bark because it usually isn't illegal. It's used as a natural dye for dying fabric. (nobody in their right mind would use it as a natural dye, except to dye their mutha fuckin miiiiiiinds!!!)

yeah but id rather have higher taxes on goods and services. Because its my choice to buy into those goods or services. With all things equal they still get my money, but i choose what I spend my otherwise taxed income on.

>yeah but id rather have higher taxes on goods and services. Because its my choice to buy into those goods or services. With all things equal they still get my money, but i choose what I spend my otherwise taxed income on.

I agree that we should concentrate taxes on consumption, not income.

If I decide to get the balls, I'll look into it.

If anyone's interested, here's my political compass.

That's a reasonable line of logic for someone with leftover income, the problem with that model is that it fucks poor people in the ass who have to spend most or all of their income regardless of whether or not they want to, so their taxes end up being a larger percentage of their total income than anybody else.

Sales tax is a regressive tax system, and it only works if rich people spend large portions of their income, but the fact is that they don't, the rich have a much higher savings rate compared to the rest of the population and therefore the revenue isn't enough to cover expenses, plus the poor get fucked harder regardless.

I have a degree in economics and I can tell you there's a good reason why there's no 100% based consumption tax systems in any country, because they're fundamentally flawed

Some places are close enough to having no ownership.

I see what you mean. I myself would probably get fucked over if my ideal was the case. There's just this certain unfairness to the people who worked their asses off to get to a position of success just to be punished with income taxes.

Either way someone is being shafted. Either the poor or the rich. I guess from a humane standpoint you could say fuck the rich people, they are fine no matter what. But still...

do you personally have any other ideas as a solution to this problem, being that you have a degree in economics?

Girlfriend isn't replying to me, so I assuming the worst. I could of course be catastrophizing, but I wouldn't be surprised if she breaks up with me, tonight.

what did you do user? or didn't do? what logical reasoning do you have?

I didn't really do anything. She seems to be scared to talk to me, for fear of hurting me, and stuff like "I shouldn't be with you because your ex is my best friend" (how I don't fucking know, my ex is an absolute cunt) or "you deserve someone better". I refuted all of this, but she didn't seem convinced, and she disappeared during conversation.

All my experiences with her are just flashing before me, and it fucking sucks that I might lose someone who is everything I look for.

Proud statist reporting in

My logical reasoning

> Might want to end the relationship.
> Doesn't like upsetting people
> Feels that she would make me be an hero. She knows about my suicidal thoughts.
> Therefore too afraid to end the relationship.
> Therefore she's just ignoring me to avoid a situation in which she'd blame herself for my death or sectioning or something like that.

This is a lot of conjecture, but I wouldn't be surprised.

I respect your right to subscribe to statism, I just do not agree.

I will wait until the evening, in case she is just busy with something. If I don't receive a reply tomorrow, I know the answer, and I'll be lost.

>
so why not advocate for a more direct democracy

>so why not advocate for a more direct democracy

I never said I don't advocate direct democracy lol.

Currently being bombarded by my friends, who suggest seeking help, but they don't know how help will happen. The logic of that doesn't make sense to me.

Oops, *how help will help
