You got the wrong idea kid, all capeshit is fucking garbage. Warcraft is a 10/10 next to any capeshit in the past 5 years.

I think giving films number based ratings are arbitrary, so I just rate them by what I think about the film overall. Really Good > Good > Ok > Bad > Really Bad

Hail Caeser - Good
Deadpool - Good
The VVitch - Really Good
Triple 9 - Ok
BMS Rise of Thadland - OK
10 Clover Field Lane - good
Midnight Special - good
CA Civil War - good
BvS Dawn of Justice - bad
Green Room - Really Good
Zootopia - good
Xmen Apocalypse - ok
The Conjuring 2 - really bad
Neon Demon - good
Pride Prejudice & Zombies - ok
Fundamentals of Caring - good
Warcraft - really bad
Sing Street - really good

so far VVitch, Green Room, and Sing Street all contenders for Movie of the Year, but there's still 5 months to go. Also, not sure if the following count as '2016' movies, but they all got their US release this year, so -

The Lobster - really good
The Program - ok
Eye in the Sky - good
High Rise - ok

Civil War 7.5/10

X- Men Apocalypse - 7.5/10

Haven't been to the movies since X Men

Does the extended edition really make it that much better?

I thought the original was a 7/10. Average but flawed. I dont think it deserved all that hate.

Only seen one:
>Warcraft
A generous 5/10 because of the polymorph scene.

UC tends to add 1 to 2 points to most peoples scores

Went from a 6.5 to 8.5 for me personally.

Star Trek Beyond 5/10

This year has been mostly garbage oscarbait and nerd flicks. I've only gone to the theater a handful of times out of boredom, and more often than not I am dissatisfied.

>Those preview for Ben-Hur and The Magnificent 7

Looked like trash.

Going to do all 2016, summer be damned.

>Loved It
Everybody Wants Some!! If you liked Dazed and Confused you know what you're getting here

Deadpool (Cry meme all you want, Are-You-There-God-It's-Me-Margaret still makes me laugh, so does mansion explosions building character; Negasonic is good, and Villian is appropriately EVIL)

TMNT Out of the Shadows (KRANG, Megan Fox Fan-service, they fixed the Turtle Designs, only somewhat weak link was Casey Jones' immature obsession with becoming detective)

Zoolander 2 (Only saw this once, may not hold up in long run but I laughed much more than I was expecting to)

Hail, Caesar! (Also only saw this once, but I'm more confident it will be as good/better on repeat viewings. Cowboy acting was hilarious, dance sequence was cool)

>Liked It
X-Men: Apocalypse (Cyclops blasting tree and interacting with other students was great, Apocalypse's costume not-so-much, Quicksilver scene is good but would have been better with "BEAT IT")

Civil War (Needs much more Ant-Man, Spider-Man)

Huntsman Winter's War: Momcore

Nice Guys: Gosling is very, very good in this.

Popstar: Some good clips in here that are rewatchable, film as whole is definitely lacking

Ghostbusters: Jaws joke alone bumps this into "Liked"

>Regret It
Batman v Superman (E-mail attachments? Joker Lex? Jimmy Olsen? Dafuq? Enjoyed WW theme by Junkie XL)

Tarzan (Margot Robbie is hot, I was happier when I thought we weren't going to have sit through Tarzan origin again but fuck it's there)

>Despise It
Star Trek: Beyond (Completely brainless action movie made worse by Pegg's clear distaste for Sci-Fi/Genre material, writing in Jennifer Lawrence as an alien, not a single unique or clever or novel thing in this film. Everything here is done better in many other films/VGs: GOTG, Mars Attacks, FFXIII, etc.

Alice Through the Looking Glass (Sacha Baron Cohen is funny, the rest is abysmal)
