I like, Pictures of You, Friday I'm in Love and A Thousand Hours but I'm not really knowledgeable about them.
What should I listen to?

Everything

Carnage Visors is their best track t b h

Every album up to and including Wish is worth a listen (except maybe The Top). Also Bloodflowers which was released in 2000 is worth a listen too. You should probably start off by listening to their singles collections, Japanese Whispers and Standing On A Beach. If you like them, then just listen to their discography chronologically.

Kiss Me x3 is the only album between 1979-1992 rhat's iffy and that's really only because of its length

I like Kiss Me x3 personally, but it's length definitely is a detractor. I also actually like The Top, it's just kind of boring at parts and I feel like someone getting into The Cure would be put off if they listened to it.

why does no-one ever pick fascination street ffs

literally the greatest goth rock single ever released

Terrific, thanks boys.

39 is so underrated

Most underrated Cure songs:
>39
>Other Voices
>Secrets
>The Blood
>To Wish Impossible Things
>Trap
>The Scream

the cure are more of an album band for me, but their greatest hits collection does give a nice cross section of their eclectic work. personal favorite album for me are disintegration, head on the door and kiss me x3. if you dig that and are into new wave and goth check out seventeen seconds, faith and pornography

I really like Kyoto Song and Close to Me

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ROBERT SMITH!

I'm so good mourn his death

gonna*

I guess I can see The Top being a disappointment for new Cure fans, but anyone who's heard Japanese Whispers should know what to expect from it

I personally feel that The Top contains their best pop-oriented works; Shake Dog Shake is a killer opener and The Caterpillar is just plain swoonworthy

I will say that they perfected the balance between pop sounds and depressive bliss with The Head on the Door though

A forest or Hey You!

First two tunes on the self titled album omg

has anyone mentioned pornography? it's the darkest off all their work and has one of my favorite songs by them (one hundred years)

the hanging garden is also a good one from that album

that's my favourite

Siamese twins and A short term effect are mine

are you going to his party? if you are ill see you there

Came here to say this.
