Why do you still live as a NEET?

Why do you still live as a NEET?
Don't you want to be something other than a burden?

There's nothing better I can be

i'd love to have a job, but the only jobs available are hairdresser and chef, and i can't do either. i've retrained three times, and each time my profession has been subsumed by machines.

i'm thinking of becoming either a cop, or a politician, next. just to see if those professions disappear also.

Why can't you be either user, do you not want to be those?

chef takes a four to six year course. i'll be sixty by the time that happens. hairdressing is for women or faggots, and i don't think i have what it takes to be either.

Ten - fifteen years until the majority of America is unemployed due to automation. Just getting in early.

i'm highly trained (university degree). i've tried applying for jobs, but have rarely heard back, and then always in the negative. i've been unemployed for over 5 years. i've kinda given up on finding a job (still apply from time to time, though).

I like pics like this. Like a containment thing with everything labeled. I'm not sure why I do, I just do.

I also like shit like pic related

What's your degree
I seriously doubt that you have a useful degree

Ten to fifteen years is not that long to have full automation. I would say more like 200 years.

I trust Elon Musk more than I trust some random user. Sorry brah

I need surgery and there is a huge conspiracy to keep me from getting the appropriate treatment. I have almost everything I need to prove it and when I finish this then I'll be fine. Lots of people are going down hard, publicly. Eat dicks, op.

I am just trusting my gut. I have worked on assembly lines. Full automation is not as close as I wish it was.

maybe it's time to get out of your basement

not sure if im neet or not, i do have a job that i go to regularly but other than that i feel like i got nothing to do, i got no friends, i got no goals, i am depressed and i barely see other people than the two guys i work with.

there is no place to socialise where i live and as far as i know there is no one my age living here as well.

>23
>M

Do you have a hobby?

What's wrong with being neet?

Seeing as you don't personally know Elon Musk he's also a 'randon user' - just one you happen to know the first and last name of.

So yeah, you are in fact placing your trust in a 'random user'. Moron.

if dreaming is one then yes, i do sleep way more than i need just to dream

Neet is the next step of human evolution.

Make a youtube channel where you talk about your dreams

I'm thinking more chain stores. Why would Walmart, for instance, hire people/have a physical location if it were billions a year cheaper to have a factory per area-code, an automated fleet with under 24 hour shipping, and an app.

That's probably the stupidest thing I've heard on today. Good job!

That's not happening.

Yes it is. Look at Uber and Amazon.
The delivery drivers will be the first to go and it will happen in your lifetime.

Cause I don't want to be poor while going to college to take everyone else's job apparently.

>Why do you still live as a NEET?
Here's why shame is not an evolutionary adaptation. Shame is the reason South Korea's suicide rate is so high. The origin of Korea's high rate is shame of 'not contributing to society' or whatever the fuck, but it's based in this devolution of shame, which is not beneficial to survival at all.

Of course, we have other traits that are evolutionary adaptations, and these traits also don't lead to bullshit ideas about dying rather than having shame.

If anything like that was going to happen so quick. At least garbage collection would be automated by now.

lol

no way near a percentage of an entire population even use uber andoreven amazon.

I have autism. I am more of a burden at work than at home.

Garbage is finnicky work as opposed to going from point A to B.
Look at what happened to taxis. There are purely digital stores in existance for a decade, dude.

I was stating that they are dabbling with the tech. If I recall correctly Volvo recently delivered the first ever autopilot payload via truck.
Samsung is making the back gate a screen so it streams from the camera on the grille.
Taxis and trucks as you know them are a dying breed and that's just scratching the surface.
Future work is STEM and IT based supplemented by classic trades machines havent mastered.

Keep dreaming buddy. Walmart in my area has already released 2day free shipping of any product purchased online. Your retail job is numbered.

Are you socialist?

>We're never all going to have a cell phone
>No one would ever use text messaging
>There's no way we could all afford touch screens
>I can't get 4g internet where I live

Three years until Uber is done with human drivers completely. Mark it.

I don't have a retail job.

>Why do you still live as a NEET?
Because I will die one day and spending most of my day either asleep or working a job that isn't fun, is just a waste of my finite time.

I would rather live in the moment and breath the essence of life as long as I'm still able to. What's the point of life if you spend 90% of it unconscious or doing something you hate?

Do something you enjoy.

>Uber being automated
>full automation

pick one

He seems to enjoy being a NEET

>v0.1.exe

Why not? If you're the CEO of Walmart and you can tell your board in a few years from now that you can save the company billions and be the first to roll out an entire new technology, why don't you?

The only one that said "full automation" was you. In my original post I said majority. Basically automation for all unskilled labor.

I want Google to build Skynet.

Everyone is gonna be a NEET once robots take over all the jobs.

How are those the only jobs available??

It's called Deep Mind and all it wants to do is play Go.

All value will be in gbp
>good boy points

Fast food employees, retail workers, people that work in movie theaters, ushers at sporting events, street sweepers, garbage collectors, delivery drivers, security guards, vegetable harvester/pickers, and so may more will be automated in how many years?

Realistically 100 at most

That's believable

10-15 the first real impact of automation will be felt. As in there will be unemployment in large enough numbers with automation being the key cause.

>Do something you enjoy.
He is, obviously.

I want to get a job being a code monkey. I spent 3 grand last July taking a boot camp that helped me learn everything I need to know to get into an actual boot camp but then I never applied. Now I need to relearn everything I did and start applying to boot camps. After the boot camp I'm pretty sure employment is guaranteed

I'm legit not healthy enough mentally or physically to do much of anything

So how many boots have you camped?

Just one and it was a prep

Jerk off on cam for clams.
Idk. Stream shitty games or do reviews of amazon products.
These require little energy. As for me, I have some kind of phobia of applying for work. Fear of rejection.

I did start a YouTube channel, but I'm terrible at it.

Channel name?

Not really sure I'm comfortable putting it on Sup Forums to be honest.

Fag

SAAAAUUUUUCEEE

lol that pic bro!

Ok

You know what, fuck it. This is my newest video. youtu.be/XiXjAro7OHA

To what end

There is no point to anything, so why exist for a life that is anything but pleasure? Make the most of the time that's here, don't spend it slaving for someone else to give the profits to some future generation you'll never see.

Subscribed. Good luck, fellow neet.

Cool, thank you.
Really appreciate the support.

>live in moment
>breath essence of life

How does being a shut-in achieve that?

Many of them have been replaced now. Even in weird seemingly skilled jobs.

Vehicle automation is accelerating every year in improvements.

So, yesterday.

because all of the other jobs are being eroded by automation. they aren't being eliminated completely, but if there is a position open for, say, a metal machinist, there are hundreds of metal machinists already in the business competing for it. chefs and hairdressers have characteristically shitty workplaces, so they tend to quit a lot.

Subscribed, 1/2 way through the video and looks good. Might have to watch from the beginning. Never played Dark Souls, more of a multiplayer guy, but looks fun to watch.

Awesome. Thank you. I'm at a doctor appointment , might take a bit to respond.

You need to get a job doing anything (anything) before you will get a job in your field, user. Being unemployed for five years is going to make you look like a lazy, unmotivated twat.

>have depression
>not exercising everyday

The only cure, user.

If Walmart doesn't employ the poor, who will shop at Walmart?

Yes, I want to pay taxes to fund niggers coming into my country. But if I don't pay taxes then niggers will come to my country to do the job I refuse to do. But they don't work anyway and only come here looking for gibs. Therefore there's only one solution. Bring in even more niggers because if you throw enough shit at a wall some of it will finally stick.

i have no degrees and combining freelance design work with a nightly bar shift is absolutely fucking my chances on following any decent education

that and housing apartment prices are fuckall huge

i am 27

>implying I'm not working

this is the most autistic thing I have ever heard. you're just making excuses to be a lazy fuck
