Cubs were bar none the most dominant team all season. Indians had several big injuries that forced a fucked up pitching staff to rely on middle relievers for almost half the game.
Cleveland went into the postseason with a snowball's chance to win. In no game in the WS were they more than a 60/40 favorite.
To have this game, this series, this night go as long as it did is almost more impressive than the final score.
