Is the new Ghostbusters movie feminist propaganda Sup Forums??.
New Ghostbusters feminist propaganda
Other urls found in this thread:
why did they go with this edgy black and white over the shoulder poster
Ghostbusters is supposed to be a comedy
yes
No, it's just super lame.
It's a dumb chick flick.
Sony tried the feminist propaganda angle because they were trying to silence criticism.
This user gets it.
Is that suppose to be Wigg in the poster?
Every reviewer that has seen it says so.
They say the main bad guy is a caricature of "nerdy man-babies" i.e. Ghostbusters core audience, and they defeat him by shooting him in the balls or something.
Attacking male genitalia is how strong women defeat the patriarchy.
NO WHITES!
Sony must be a bunch of butthurt faggots.
>Ghostbusters is supposed to be a comedy
It is? Wow, this movie really was a failure.
Tell me about it.
Literally Sony marketing to everyone but the Ghostbusters fanbase.
Pretty much yeah.
No. And if it is, it's really terrible propaganda, to the point where it damages its own agenda by being a shit film. I lost whatever respect I had for Bill Murray after this, too bad no one will ever believe me.
I thought he wanted nothing to do with this.

Remind me how a movie written by a 50-year old white cuck of a man is feminist again?
It's just shit with paul feig using women in order to cope with his school traumas of being bullied for being a pussy male. He's clearly projecting with the shitty male characters and open misandry in the movie.
This guy took all the words right out of my mouth.
I still don't get villain's motivations. He was angry because...?
And he could've afford all those nice things because...?
And he knew that he could became a ghost god because...?
I don't need a full explanation, a small hint would be fine.
Probably Zull did it.
They will explain everything in the sequels.
He was coerced into endorcing it.
That sucks.
The only funny joke in the movie is the very idea of female scientists
The whole cast was coerced into it. Ernie Hudson was against the whole idea of a reboot and pretty vocal about it, but suddenly he was all for it. And Dan Aykroyd gave this REALLY scripted endorsement for it. Bill Murray has been hating the idea of returning to GB for decades and now he's giving this awkward endorsement saying "oh yeah.. they're amazing.. very brilliant...". It's painful to watch.
Just watched it (decent stream is out).
It was honestly worse than I expected it to be. Not funny at all, best part of the movie was not Chris Hemsworth (he was pretty boring imo) but Leslie Jones, le funny loud nigger stereotype.
Worst parts were McKinnon and McCarthy, pure fucking c-r-i-n-g-e either of them opened their mouth, especially McKinnon. So tryhard it hurt to be some sort of quirky scientist while McCarthy was just fucking annoying and uncomfortable to watch.
Literally everything about it was shit, it was boring and not funny at all.
Feminist propaganda? Not really, just a movie about incompetent, unfunny women if you ask me. Jesus I can't believe the shitty things that made it into the final cut (99% of McKinnon's lines).
I was taken aback by all the hate and vitrol this got pre-release and I feel very sorry for Leslie Jones (who I thought was the best part of the movie) but in hindsight it was all justified (not like anybody could've really known though).
Seriously, it's complete and utter pure shit. I liked Bridesmaids, I sitll can't believe how shit this really was. I thought all those people were somewhat competent, what the fuck happened.
...
I feel sorry for her. She's a nice person and doesn't deserve all the Sup Forums bullying imo.
Hey wait a minute this movie is PG-13 and that girl doesn't look old enough to be watching the new Ghostbusters.
she's a tool of corporate america who has her unwittingly shucking and jiving on stage for the white man's amusement.
>this movie full of female empowerment and male detriment written by a male feminist has nothing to do with feminism. Ignore all the times the director, studio and actors have said otherwise over the last 2 years
I can't believe that people actually are believing this.
This. I thought Leslie Jones was the only one making a funny delivery (when she was not screaming) but the rest of the actresses just were not fucking funny. The lines written for them weren't funny, the delivery wasn't funny, it was phlegmatic and tired. There was only one joke that I smiled at but laughter? Not even once. It wasn't a "feminist propaganda movie" it was just really unfunny and boring that needed a media storm to make it seem interesting.
The whole movie's climax was a clusterfuck. Neon coloured ghosts and a very cartoony cinematography, but everyone was still an unfunny bore. The villain was VERY weak and there wasn't really anything happening in the movie. The dialogue was just unfunny blabbering with attempted jokes but in the end it was just BORING.
It wasn't a godawful cringeworthy ultra-feminist shill, it was just a badly made movie. The ending ripped off Big Hero 6 big time too, out of all the movies out there.
Someone post the webm of him looking depressed as fuck on jimmy Kimmel then smiling when one of the Wiig looks at him then looking depressed again as she turns away.
I wanna die inside.
Very well said fellow user.
>I thought all those people were somewhat competent
It's a sony production. How could you think that?
Moreso a movie studio using cheap superficial faux-feminist propaganda to make money.
It isn't leftist. It is pure global capitalism using these idiots to try and get a fat profits. Glad they somewhay fell flat on their face.
>being this salty over an obvious joke
>feminist propaganda
>one woman does all the work and the rest of them screw it up or steal the credit
No, not really
>any movie that stars women is feminist
it looked like Dan hated beeing in the movie more than Bill, or perhaps Bill's just the greater actor
why does the imdb forum for this movie look just worse than this place?
Not really.
H-how do we debate this guys?
Does it bother black people that the only black character in the movie is also brainless and useless but not even eye candy?
Dear Slightlypsychic:
No, it does not bother me. Why would it?
