Clam linguine with a white wine garlic sauce. Fast yet impressive.
Schnitzel and spaetzle. It's crazy easy to make and people think it's gourmet as fuck. And all it really is at the end is awesome fried pork and cheesy noodles.

Only if you make it from scratch. Most good grocery stores should have bagged spaetzle - it's just like spaghetti. Boil it, drain it, add the cheese, and stir.
thai style meatballs are cool.
make meatballs. sear and oven bake.
make thin pastry dough.
slice dough with a pizza cutter, paint it with olive oil in thin strips.
wrap it round meatballs so they are stripy.
drop them in pesto, teriyaki, sweet chilli, any sauce, and pan fry the strips onto them.
cool stripy meatballs in multiple flavors, serve with a mixture of sides; udon, egg, rice noodles, spaghetti, cool big pasta, easy pick'n'choose dinner that looks incredible;
the dough stripes pick up the colours from the flavours, even throw some turmeric on them for base yellow or chuck food coloring in the frypan.
i do this loads late at night, 2 pounds of mince, some breadcrumbs, onion, garlic and just whatever you have lying around makes massive bols of pick & choose deliciousness.
What's the weather like where you are OP? If it's nice out maybe bbq or grill something. If it's cold out, maybe a stew or something like that.

>Add chicken and about a cup of tiny shrimp
>Cook until it looks done
>Add 1 can coconut milk
>Boil gently about five more minutes
>Serve over rice, topped with a little finely chopped green onion

i'm going to give you a recipe ytou cant screw up and its fucking amazing: risotto with chicken in tomatosauce
basically you get risotto, search how to cook it ( you need housewine too) then make the chicken. filets work best; make sure you use enough butter and 'burn' the outside of the filet so it doesnt dry out. very important! then cut the filet in blocks (you can do this beforehand) and for the sauce, you just literally get creme freche and mix it together with some tomato sauce (the stuff u use for pizzas, not ketchup. although that may work too, idk) then just heat it up and you got yourself some heaven. Oh and you can make a tasty salad with some tomatoes, mozarella and basil

SIX TINS OF CROISSANT ROLLS FROM THE FRIDGE. DON'T GET PILLSBURY, JUST GET THE FUCKING STORE BRAND. PILLSBURY ALWAYS ENDS UP TOO BUTTERY.
SECOND GET THREE CANS OF SOLO BRAND POPPY SEED FILLING FROM THE BAKING AISLE. SHOULD BE NEXT TO THE CANS OF SOLO BLUEBERRY AND CHERRY. IF THEY DON'T HAVE IT FUCK THAT STORE FIND ANOTHER ONE NEARBY SOMEONE'S GONNA HAVE IT.
TAKE THAT SHIT HOME. SPREAD OUT A TRIANGLE OF DOUGH. NOW TAKE A HEAPING SPOONFUL OF THE BLACK STUFF AND SMEAR THE WHOLE THING, LEVELLY, OVER THE DOUGH. ROLL IT UP, FILLING INSIDE, FROM THE NARROW END TO THE WIDE END AND FOLD THE SIDES IN. REPEAT.
WHAT'S THAT? YOU DON'T THINK IT'S GOING TO TASTE AWESOME? FUCK THAT, TAKE A TASTE OF THE FILLING STRAIGHT FROM THE CAN. YOU TASTE THAT? THAT IS THE TASTE OF FUCKING AMBROSIA.
MAKE THE WHOLE SLATE OF SIX CANS (YOU WILL NEED THAT MUCH) USING ABOUT HALF A CAN OF POPPYSEED PER CAN OF ROLLS. COOK UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN. DEVOUR.
JUST BE AWARE YOU ARE GOING TO FAIL THE FUCK OUT OF ANY DRUG TEST YOU TAKE IN THE NEXT WEEK.
