I was born in 1970 and have been a lifelong buckeye fan. I went to ohio state and graduated in 1996…watching every game in the stands during my time in college, and several games both before and after my time on campus. But my heartbreak began very early. I remember losing the 1980 rose bowl and have been disappointed almost every year since. I remember the year we tied Michigan and our fucking president called it the greatest victory of all time. If you had told me, back in 1980, that we would win 2 more national championships, and play teams like Nebraska, Oklahoma, and Penn State…all in one season, I would have laughed at you. Crazy how this college football thing works, isn’t it?
