Post Flawless Albums

Other anons point out the flaws.

...

you start

>missing the point of the thread this hard

Spoken word over funk track gets old when you do it twice in an album with 7 songs
The title track doesn't quite mesh with their new sound

>IBF delete Jamaica Jerk Off

Matte Kudasai gets old fast, though it's not a particularly bad song

...

suck my cock

suck my cock

...

Bennie and the Jets is overplayed beyond enjoyment
lol

has some lame guitar instrumental that no one will like or remember.

>lol

not an argument.

Indiscipline is forgettable

...

It has that terrible '80s sound.

Wasn't meant to be
That's the best track though

>That's the best track though
Good joke
The best track is obviously Thela Hun Jingeet

...

...

so then you agree its flawless.

...

suck my cock

NOW THAT YOUR WALLET IS ALL LIT UP NOW THAT YOUR WALLET IS ALL LIT UP NOW THAT YOUR WALLET IS ALL LIT UP NOW THAT YOUR WALLET IS ALL LIT UP NOW THAT YOUR WALLET IS ALL LIT UP NOW THAT YOUR WALLET IS ALL LIT UP NOW THAT YOUR WALLET IS ALL LIT UP NOW THAT YOUR WALLET IS ALL LIT UP NOW THAT YOUR WALLET IS ALL LIT UP

Elephant Talk and Indiscipline are not great songs. Every other song on that album is 10/10 though

hey, can you zip this?

Doesn't have Greg Lake as lead vocals.

The album?

ok

suck my cock

Excellent lyrics but the songs are too long for their own good and the album is boring as a result.
Has too much fucking alternation between really long actually instrumental hip hop songs and voice samples between songs. My only criticism. GOAT album.

yes

There are no flaws

it should be fishman or fishmen not fishmans, clearly made by asians

I'd listen to this if I wasn't depressed as all hell now.

the vocals are in some nonsense language
35 minutes is not that long of a season
the superior version is on that one live album

>the vocals are in some nonsense language
>35 minutes is not that long of a season

...

never said it was flawless either

...

Discipline ripped off: Brian Eno, Talking Heads, Fela Kuti, Jon Hassell

...

facebook story you dickhead

...

why don't you suck my cock

Adrian Belew was in Talking Heads.

Classic and flawless. I just played this yesterday.

...

...

Love this record and it's really hard to find problems with it desu, same with discipline...

Channel Orange was better and I'll fight anyone who says otherwise

stop sucking cocks and suck my cock

Yeah but you canĀ“t get back to it after Absent Lovers

guess you're fighting me

Are you talking about Elephant Talk and Indiscipline?

I literally can't come up with anything for this.

Actually, What Does Your Soul Look Like, Pt. 4 takes too long to progress and drags a little as a result.

I think he means Indiscipline and Thela Hun Ginjeet.
Monkey and Bear is kind of awful compared to the rest of the record- it's has way too much orchestra over-crowding the song.
And You And I is the weakest track and could've been shortened 3 minutes to make Siberian Khatru even longer
The singles, Start, and Intruder are of a notably higher quality than the rest of the record.

...

Children choir ruined the mood on part 1. Would have been better without it.

Bossa Nova is not for americans to dabble with

Almost every piece lacks energy. Music for weed people

Real fucking pretentious

The beats are too spacious for her already expansive vocals

Too slow for sex, not sexy enough for foreplay

Perfect :^)

>Bossa Nova is not for americans to dabble with
Real nice criticism you got there

:^) iz tru m8

Can't touch it

too slow to be called rock too overloaded to be called ambient. Stuck out there in an aural no-man's land

That's a bad thing? Also you've just described post-rock you big retard

...

Their better prog work was on Hemispheres.
Their better synth work was on Signals.
Moving Pictures is a good compromise, but I'd enjoy listening to those two records successively more than I'd enjoy listening to MP.

...

close to the edge is too eccentric, pretty much technical wankery

...

The monologue on Static is cringey
There are moments on Static, Antennas to Heaven, and even Sleep that are too uneventful and even as ambient they're inferior to the ambient bits on F#A# Infinity

suck my cock

Utter shite tbqh fans of these should be gassed

End your life my dude

I always get the album cover confused with this one.

best album in this whole thread

say what you want, there is absolutely no weak point on this album

Thela Hun Ginjeet, although not a bad song, after the first listen it's really tempting to skip.

flawless

too long of a break from the end of World Police/Friendly Fire and the start of Sleep, otherwise perfect

That monologue changed my life.

Think of it in a more abstract viewpoint: when you see or figure out what you want to do in life, your former self "will die" and you'll work to become that person you see.

>40 years since release
>It's still regarded as one of the best and most influential guitar albums ever

lmao ok kid

live version is straight up better

Noice

Same fagging this hard wow

Welcome to the Machine drags on a bit.

D-Diego?

Makes me feel like I wasted my youth. Other than that, it's perfect.

The only legitimate criticism in this thread.

suck my cock

Love Welcome to the Machine but I really can't stand Have a Cigar, it's an okay song on its own but it doesn't fit at all with the mood of the album

Neil Peart's lyrics are god-awful, like a 13-year-old who exclusively reads Ayn Rand and unabridged thesauruses. good musically for the most part but Witch Hunt and Vital Signs are forgettable
