Ableton bro.
Been producing a long time, if you need some advice I can probably help you and and if you're better than me, help me out.
Up for collabs and looking for SINGERS AND VOCALISTS to finish these tracks before they go to a studio for a mix and master.
Seriously if you know a singer get the to listen because this stuff is good enough to make money on radio etc.

Pretty neat.
Ill think about it.
Okay i'm not gonna lie i went in sketpical thinking it was just some basic trash with some whitehouse edginess sprinkled over it but this shit is $$$$$$$$$$$$$
A little hit and miss for me personally.
good beat but disliked the singing.
yeah check him out if yr into trap shit.
Oh yeah, forgot: here's a music video which I produced the beat for in 2009 before I quit production for 7 years, MC is from NY (Final Outlaw), 29.000 views atm. I sampled Bayonetta for this beat, it's shitty compared to my 2017 stuff but at least it's a music video and got a release:

its too short. That's a bad thing.
you didnt overdo anything though and thats important. really left air for the piano to breathe.

Alternative rap, I think yall will dig this track, it's my favorite off this 9 track tape / has a nice vibe to it

DIRTY PONCHO
My music
this is nice, you've got a great voice. little bit better production and this could be big
good stuff as usual. great songwriting
tight af, I'm bouncin'
good shit, def got that old aphex drum style happening. very captivating. nice use of panning throughout the track too
little bit edgy but tight composition. really cool sound design. honestly feels like you're letting yourself down with the edgy shit desu which is a shame, the music bangs.
mixing acoustic drums with phonky shit is def working in this. great mixing
hit or miss for me. try duplicating your hi-hats and and panning the tracks hard left and right (haas effect). will make your mix sound a lot wider, the drums feel kind of claustrophobic to me. really like the third track so far though

Thanks for the feedback, appreciate it, I'm familiar with your stuff, I dig it a lot.
I mean, I understand why a lot of it can come across as edgy, that's totally fine, I have my reasons for using that type of imagery, it feels right to me, but if people want to call that bullshit, they most certainly can, and can pull some decent points about that, I can respect that, sure.

Nah, you didn't come across as demanding, it's your opinion, and you know what, you're not the first guy who said it either, which tells me that it's something that can be in a way damaging to what I do, and can also be true in a sense, people will ignore it on face-value sometimes.
I can't really blame them for that either, not everyone is willing to go into something called "YOU LITTLE CUNT".
I want an honest opinion after all, so thanks again.

Probably the best place to ask this because I don't know where else.
How do you go about sampling music to make your own? I want to use some but I'm hesitant because all the legal shit that could be involved.
This is my first time making music. I tried. I'm not nearly as good as anyone in this thread, but I guess feedback might be nice. Thanks in advance.

new song up, tell me your thoughts and opinions
soundcloud.com
>Uplifting Trance
you try too hard to be massive and mainstage edm which is why this beat was sorta cringe / cheesy
also when you overly complex everythng while having no hooks its gonna be really forgettable like some 10 minute asian piano play
There is nothing here yet, as proof of my incredible self awareness and content curation skills. But it's going to be INCREDIBLE I assure you

sx beats.
I'm trying to do some heavier/hard sounding beats without sounding trap, looking for some feedback
If I don't specify a track, assume the first in the playlist.
this is way too flat, you couldn't make it flatter if you tried. sounds like I listened to a sine wave for 2 minutes. Not sure why you have this problem in That Hurts but not in the other tracks...
good but not radio ready in my opinion (and not because they're unmastered)
love it.
I don't mean to be a dick, but this is better than your new stuff, certainly more radio ready
LOVE it
very nice
I try to not comment on this genre because I don't know it well at all but I liked this a lot
like this
too minimal for me, I like sloppy old twangy thang more
also grill :DDDDD
edgy pic
First off: don't be discouraged by your first attempts. Try to make a song per day (or whatever is comfortable for you) for months, years, and then enjoy the fruits of your dedication.
Into the track itself:
what is going on here? why is the right track much louder? what's the hiss?
also, try to imitate artists you like instead of aimlessly trying to make music. at least at the start, you need to understand what works and what doesn't. literally everyone's first attempt sounds like that, and it's a waste of time to practice without objectives.
nice
Is this Una Corda by NI? Extremely comfy. Like it.
nice. it tickles my ears.
this is way overcompressed. Not like "mainstream music" overcompressed, but like "60db of brickwall limiting" ovecrompressed... and even though you completely smashed the master, it still sounds quiet because of the bad mix.
best in the thread
if you enjoyed my critique follow my pathetic profile

Not sure what happened here, but tickles my ears, not my empty profile, and my empty profile is not but . Stupid computers.
Boy you just roasted my ass. Fair enough though, appreciate the feedback. Sup Forums isn't too keen on my kind of EDM I suppose.
has anyone relevant ever been discovered from one of these threads, or is it just nonames circlejerking? not hatin, I'm a noname too.
lorde posted royals here a long time ago
Bro, just listened to your stuff and you're in no position to be doling out critique like this. Well done for listening to everyone's stuff but you're a long way off being a pro yourself. A really long way, lol.
