AIC > Nirvana >>>>>> Soundgarden > basically every other grunge band of the era and even most of the ripoff bands > PJ

Buttrock, all of them. Might as well listen to creed or puddle of mudd.

Worst opinion so far

Nirvana > Soundgarden > Pearl Jam > AiC

If you disagree you should refrain from talking about 90s alt-rock

Soundgarden > Nirvana > Alice in Chains > Pearl Jam

AIC>Soundgarden>STP>Nirvana>PJ

I wish Mudhoney were included in the top 4 of Grunge
They'd deserve to be there

Nirvana>AIC>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Soundgarden and PJ

mudhoney doing the whole illuminati shtick before it was cool

They only really had Superfuzz Bigmuff though

every other release was pretty spotty

This desu

The first two Mudhoney albums are good.

Retard

Nirvana>AiC>Soundgarden>>>
STP>Pearl Jam
Melvins is the best grunge band. This is an undeniable fact.

AiC should be in the top 2 no matter what you fucking pleb

They've been consistently good throughout their career imo, even if Superfuzz is their only truly great release. I'd take any Mudhoney album over any post-Vitalogy PJ album desu

Soundgarden > Nirvana > Pearl Jam = STP > AiC

I never thought of Melvins as really a Grunge band desu, only realy tangentially

>taking any PJ album at all

they're important to helping found the sound, but in no way can you call them a grunge band

Every Good Boy Deserves Fugde was great too

This is the best Grunge band and you can't deny it

Is it so hard to believe they where a part of the scene earlier on?

Is that Matt Berry?

>not even trying to hide the fact that he's copying Cobain's look from the Sliver video
jesus

We can all agree that vocally Cornell > Staley > Vedder > Cobain, right?

Why nobody has mentioned the Smashing Puppers yet

Never really considered them Grunge
More just a straight-forward Alt. Rock band.
The Shoegaze influences were more pronounced than anything.

It's pure buttrock dude

From a purely objective standpoint yes

Alice in Chains >>>>>> Nirvana >>>>>>>>>>>> Soundgarden >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Pearl Jam

Not that they're at all similar, grunge is a retarded "genre"

1. Soundgarden
2. Nirvana
3. Pearl Jam
4. Alice in Chains

all four of those bands are far more straightforward

Grunge sort of makes sense as a genre if you look at the original crop of bands described as Grunge, but it seemed like every heavier band out of Seattle got stuck with the label.

this, plus they aren't from Seattle

Absotively

>Cornell > Staley

So far no he has got it right:

Soundgarden > Alice in Chains > Nirvana > Pearl Jam

temple of the dog is great

some of cornell's best vocal performances on that one

they were basically only labeled grunge by out of touch journalists trying to seem trendy

Soundgarden -> Pearl Jam -> Nirvana -> Alice in Chains

Alice in Chains>

Agreed, this is pretty objective. Its hard to choose between Nirvana or AIC for second though.

Melvins > Alice in Chains > Nirvana > Soundgarden > Mother Love Bone > Temple of the Dog > Mad Season > Pearl Jam > Mudhoney > Mark Lanegan > Screaming Trees > L7 > Truly > Failure > My Sister's Machine > Late! > Love Battery > The Fluid > Malfunkshun > Green River > Blood Circus > Skin Yard > Rein Sanction > Gruntruck > Hater > Fecal Matter > Hole

Nirvana > Alice in Chains >>> dogshit >>> Soundgarden > Pearl Jam

redpill me on TAD
