why are fags so eager to downplay Lou's artistry? david bowie, iggy pop, bob dylan and many other greats have spoken of their admiration for lou reed, are you implying these geniuses are talentless hacks too? ever thought that maybe you just don't understand lous music user?

Wrong. Lou Reed is a talentless hack because, as soon as he kicked John Cale (the real creative force of the Velvet Underground) out of the band, the band never made one second of good music again. And yes, this includes the sometimes beloved Velvet Underground (1969; not to be confused with "& Nico" which was their debut); one of the most boring and stale albums of all time.
