don't even think about estonia

*from siberia*

Yes.

Yes.

Yes.

isn't it a part of ussr now

wow thats really nice of you

Yes.

bravo estonia...bravo indeed...

Yes that's why half their population is Russian

Estonia isn't a part of this fucking union now
Yes.

Not really. Russia will probably try to take these, just like they did with crimea.

Rebelled province of our Empire. Estonia deldanda est.

Yes, of course we do.

Of course, why wouldn't we?

Kinda, I don't think that we need to annex them like eastern Ukraine or Belarus. If they stop opressing Russian minorities and will make Russian second state language I'll stop care about them at all.

not, cuz they're not independent, early they sit on our neck, now on yours

guys, i am kinda getting mixed messages here

lmaoed @ this post

Absolutely!

Yes

I visited Estonia a few months ago and holy shit do the ethnic Estonians hate the Russian immigrants. I thought tensions between the Dutch and Moroccan/Turkish immigrants were bad

What is the sentiment in Russia about Russians that work in Eastern European countries?

>What is the sentiment in Russia about Russians that work in Eastern European countries?
About "i don't give a fug".

all baltic countries is vermins

this is pretty rude, dont you think?

They are not immigrants, nobody in right mind will come to Baltics to work. They were born there, but don't have citizenship, EU passport and can't use their language. Literally apartheid.

you are vermin

and I mean you, personally

do you believe Russia should liberate their opressed minorities in the baltics?

...

Its too late

We should have started this in 1991.

Basically:
1. Russian army leaves baltic states and give weapoms to russian minority.

2. Russians start riots and demand equal rights.

3.???

4. Profit

But in 2017... It will be wrong decision.

Yes, he's rude but particulary that "rudeness" have a reason to exist.
Some balts (estonians especially) are really fucked up about hatred towards to russians.
One guy, for example, spend about 20+ mins to provide a AIDS statistic among russian population in Estonia. Also he was very obsessed with details and dreams about "how you will finally die".
After 20+ mins even other estonians started to asking him "what is your problem? You're really weird, stop".
But my option actually.. Well, we have a proverb "Do not touch the shit and it won't stink".
But we are on Sup Forums and you know
>Sup Forums
>no hatred in da threads
doubtfully.

i am so sorry
what can we, as germans, do to ensure that russian minorities are not discriminated in baltics?

is there a way how russia-estonian relations could improve?

>One guy, for example, spend about 20+ mins to provide a AIDS statistic among russian population in Estonia. Also he was very obsessed with details and dreams about "how you will finally die".
Hah! Some reason for "rudeness".
Literally all shitposting on Sup Forums or in real life can be justified with such garbage reasons.

Yes. Relations with west must improve.

It means they will not talk about aggressive russia attacking baltics to UNDERMINE THE WEST AND BREAK NATO anymore.

I realize that balts fear invasion, if they stop fear about it, relations will be better.

There's a people that are absolutely okay.
Other ones are not.
It's a personal choice. I don't think that some "external ways" to fix it are really exist.
Some pople choose hatred, some are not.

but just like the balts, russians also fear an invason through nato who has bases on baltics, or is it not true?

no))

Not by use of force, because we don't really need their clay. Maybe through EU institutions or other political ways. But I believe that Russians in Baltics shouldn't have less rights than German-born 2nd gen Turks in Germany for example. If balts will give citizenship and passports to their "non-citizens" it will be even better for them because some of Russians will move to other EU countries and leave them alone with their butthurt.

Yeah

There is a lot of shit like AMERICA AND YUROP WANT TO ATTACK US ONLY PUTIN CAN SAVE RUSSIANS.

plus we should stop care about soviet shit and become main anticommunists since we suffered the most from it.

>russians also fear an invason through nato
Only brainwashed Russians.

Not to mention that if Estonians dont give them citizenship they're providing and excuse for their liberation

What's the point of NATO bases all over the world? Seriously.

95% of russians

To keep the world peaceful and democratic

You're one of them bruh?

So why don't you think that russian army in Crimea were a sign on opression but not an instrument for the peace keeping and democrating voting?
Double standarts?

To control, to protect, to restrain agressors.
They are the only global superpower on this planet (in this moment only, but anyway) so they have all rights to do that.

Of course, I drink le boyarushnique and watch KisselTV

You have to be a real county in order to be respected as a sovereign country

My sides To control, to protect, to restrain agressors.
>control
That's what i'm absolutely not doubt about but
>protect
>restrain
Any examples?
>They are the only global superpower on this planet (in this moment only, but anyway) so they have all rights to do that
So.. some orgnization (not even country) is global superpower that have all right to do whatever they want? Which literally means corporatism. But corporatism =! democracy. It's litreally full opposite.

Yes

Estonia is part of Finland and if you bully Estonia you bully Finland.
Who is first one who wants to get puukko in the ribs and axe in face.

Why not?

>What is the sentiment in Russia about Russians that work in Eastern European countries?
Why would we care?

>since we suffered the most from it.
With all due respect, but wasn't Russia the most prosperous member state of the Soviet Union? I always get the impression that all other states basically were large pieces of land to use for farmland and factory work + functioned as buffer zones if WW3 would start.

Yeah, clearly. Look how much better they all are doing without russian interference.

Baltics were. They also had most advanced shit like lectronics, fashion, etc. Ukraine was agricultural but good.

One of the early Soviet policies was to reduce Russian influence through multiculti and ban of most of Russian traditions, culture, religion. Lenin hated "Great Russian chauvinism" with passion. They also ended the country when they destroyed capitalism.

Most prosperous were Balts, Ukraine and Belarus because all industry and """high-tech""" was in the western part of country. Also Georgia and Abkhazia because they lacked central control and had very big shadow economy — tourism, illegal private factories which produced fake jeans, fake alcohol and other fake things. RSFSR (today Russia) was forced to be raw material appendage actually. Commies always were Russophobic.

Estonia? What is that? Ah, are you talking about the small territory piece located somewhere in Baltics? Of course we respect that as a sovereign country every fucking time when remember of it existence

>Ukraine was agricultural but good
Ukraine had very advanced industry as well — aerospace (Antonov), computers, electronic components, defence tech, home appliances, cameras and many else. Less than Balts, but more knowledge-intensive than any other Soviet republic.

Кaк тaм дeлa, в 1989?

Why do (some) Russians always forget that some of their small neighbouring countries exists and have to express this memory loss or lack of knowledge every time these countries are mentioned?
I mean, I too don't think about all of the countries all the time, but I don't feel that I have to start any statement about a certain country "I don't care about this country and don't think about it AT ALL, but...".
I get it that it's to imply superiority over their small insignificant neighbours, but it comes of odd and insecure.

why all baltics are so bad when it comes to sarcasm?

OP probably implies that we have some bad feelings to wards you while we don't and we kinda need to prove it all the time because someone writes articles how "we" are going to invade Europe.

Butthurt belt complex probably.

Hey, wait a minute
You're not joking when you're saying that the russian minority is not allowed citizenship in the baltics and can't vote / leave / have access to public services and jobs etc?

Then why is one of their presidents a russian guy?

Can you show me some evidence on that claim?
That's a violation of "human rights", but I think the west only claims it when it benefits arabs and africans anyway

>Why do (some) Russians always forget that some of their small neighbouring countries exists
Just because it's hard to remember each fucking memecountry when you have about hundred of regions like these """""""countries"""""""

Nah I get that most of the posts here of that nature are sarcastic, but elsewhere I've seen many times when these statements are made unironically. Even IRL.

Yes, we certainly do.

I beg your pardon, but why would they should stop being afraid of the Russians, while they're coexisting with pretty aggressive and unpredictable neighbour right beyond their borders?
Baltic states are doing everything just right, I guess. Stand your ground till Russia will cease being a threat!

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Estonian_nationality_law#Undefined_citizenship
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Non-citizens_(Latvia)

Most russians there moved in soviet times.

Thwy consider soviet. era occupation. In 1990 they restored independence. Unlike russia, ukraine, Kazakhstan etc baltic states are successors of pre communist states.

After 1990 they gave citizenship to all people whose ancestors were citizens before occupation.

Soviet "immigrants" were given alien passport. You must pay taxes, you cant vote, work in government, police, army.

To become a citizen one should pass language test. Russians born in postsobiet times get citizenship automatically.

They have citizenship, are allowed to vote, have a party (which is shit) that represents them in parliament, there are people of Russian nationality in other ruling parties that also represents them. They have access to public services and jobs and everything.

It wouldn't be that hard if you were a little smarter my man ;)

to

>tfw still confused Lithuania and Latvia

That's russian crocodile tears version of the story, another version would be that Latvia and Estonia were shit at armed resistance vs commies, so they got a large number of russian colonists during theirs days as soviet socialist republics. After regaining independence they faced the issue of a numerous minority with questionable loyalty to their country of residence, so to mitigate that they put in some some safeguards instead of giving everyone citizenship automatically, like mandatory language exam. That is entirely reasonable, but vatinks make it out like they were all driven into ghettos and forced to wear a red star as a mark of shame or something.

Personally I would love Russia to annex Baltics.
We are already under sanctions.
I just want to see all that baltic butthurt that's all

Baltics are members of the EU and NATO.

>I just want to see all that baltic butthurt that's all
I want to see it too, but the annexing the land means annexing these butthurt people too. The price is too high.

I know.
It is obvious that it won't happen because of this.
As I said above I just like Balt butthurt

Because (some) Russians are arrogant and infested with unfounded superiority complex. It is what it is. Sorry about that.

As I remember Hitler solved this problem

>They were born there
That's not how you spell "their parents were transplanted there after the war to solidify russian occupation of the area".

Estonian intelligence agency's annual threat assessment report was 64 pages long. 60 of those pages were dedicated to the many ways that Russia has or could fuck us. I'll let you draw your own conclusions.

>forced to wear a red star as a mark of shame or something
That might be fun.

And, to be honest, I don't get it why those people just refuse to integrate like learn a language, pass the exams, become a citizen and so on? If they wish to preserve their national identity so bad they should go back to Mother Russia and be Ruskis there, isn't it?

Yes
But they have to give me a girl (m) to bully

>refuse to integrate like learn a language
Can confirm this
Half of my family (everyone from mother's side) is Russian and they don't speak Lithuanian on purpose. If they go to the store they try to speak Russian and they are lucky if the person is born before '95 or so. If they bump into a young person however, then someone older has to be called to translate/talk instead (happened for me at work several times). Usually then the employer is upset a bit at employee for not learning Russian because 'customer is always right' blablabla and if you say you don't know Russian, specifically in my case, I was told 'what the fuck were you doing at school, they teach Russian there' and when I told that I studied German instead of Russian I was given a bad look, because everyone should learn and know Russian just in case they need it in life or just work.

Usually such message comes from Lithuanians themselves who are nostalgic about soviet union and miss it. So it is put on the shoulders of younger Lithuanians who don't remember it, don't want anything to do with it and expect everyone to speak Lithuanian. This is some sort of mini-psychological war now between older and younger generation, which should disappear eventually as they die off.

Truth is, many of those Russians from my family know Lithuanian but just refuse to speak it on purpose, for example if I tell them hello in Lithuanian they will answer in Russian and keep speaking it. My half Russian aunt confirmed this as well about her aunts and uncles.

So in a lot of cases we have to fit these "Russian standards" and it really does piss off a bit to see Russians from Russia talking what they don't know about, making it look like everything is so simple and easy. I don't want to explain myself to someone why I didn't learn Russian at school when "I should have"... it's Russians who should learn Lithuanian.

>Then why is one of their presidents a russian guy?
Who? It's impossible. I know mayor of some town is Russian, but he learned their language and actually is a Russophobe and self-hater.
Only your country don't have non-citizen status for Russians, but it's still discriminating language usage
Why should anyone bother learning meme language spoken by amount of people less than there is in disctrict of Moscow. Balts should let minorities use there own language, like in Canada, Belgium or Switzerland. If I were Baltic Russian I would rather be unemployed than learn their language, it's really humilating.

Youre half lithuanian half russian, you must join our side and dont let it die.

>explain myself to someone why I didn't learn Russian at school when "I should have"
>Half of my family (everyone from mother's side) is Russian and they don't speak Lithuanian on purpose

Are you so fucked in the head with nationalism so you don't learn Russian on purpose even if it means you can't talk with you mother and relatives on her side? You are really sick
>it's Russians who should learn Lithuanian.
But why, if Quebecoirs shouldn't learn English, Flanders shouldn't learn French, Tirolers shouldn't learn Italian and so on. If you Balts are that "western" and "democratic" you should really learn from real western countries how to treat minorities.

Russia kidnapped an estonian border guard once.... Is that true? Why is russia so evil?

dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3203745/Estonian-says-Russia-abducted-serve-15-years-hard-labour.html

no

>I am fucked in the head with nationalism
>I don't learn Russian on purpose and I can't talk with my relatives
Russian word spinning everyone, that's how RT fucks up minds of weak westerners. I can easily speak enough Russian with my relatives you dumb shit, and like I said they fucking know Lithuanian but refuse to speak it due to the very same nationalism, shitlord. How fucked in the head can you be to not speak the language you know? Don't even try to compare Soviets with Quebecois, that's not even apples and oranges, it's apples and potatoes.

I was learning Russian for as long as my grandfather was alive, then he died from lung cancer because he smoked unfiltered Prima every day. Then I had no need to do it. I was told to study German by my parents because I could easily learn Russian at home from grandpa and then know even more languages, but he died unexpected. Don't fucking put words in my mouth when you don't know half of it.

>sputnikipogrom.ru

You're really pissed off, aren't you?

yes

I always forget how lucky finns were that the army managed to hold off the red horde long enough to force peace talks. That sounds like hell.

tl;dr Lithuania is Russian

another vermin, still drain deutch money?

they have a chance to get a citizenship but for most having the "gray passport" is the best thing because they can bring cheap tobacco, fuel etc from russia without visa up to 5 times a day (i think it was 5 times).

only rights these gray passports dont have is right to vote for parliament or be elected into it. Cant join the military. Cant work a government job and get no diplomatic protection while traveling.

There is only 82k of those grey passport owners left and most are old people who have lived here for at least 26 years and still haven't bothered to learn the language or take the test.

Its their own fucking problem if they want to be 2nd class people.

>make people 2nd class citizents
>Its their own fucking problem

sure
