The point of these threads is to encourage people to look for new and interesting music. We do this by listening to and ideally discussing albums we've never heard before. Many of us already listen to new music daily, these people are in it to venture "out of their comfort zone" by listening to albums they otherwise wouldn't have, or just to have a good time.
While I'm also going through Woolite's sweet albums, I also wanted to steal Mark And's idea because I liked it a lot. As in, a mini song tourney.

It's with a heavy heart that I must say that the overwhelming consensus was that The Ziggurat and You Are My Everlovin' need to be replaced. I love 'em a lot but that's what you guys want.
Also, 8+9, Machine Gun, and Uneven Compromise scored comparatively high, and I'd like to see if most people think those should be removed or not.

Keep in mind, the point of replacing stuff is so that we can have albums that better represent the current """taste""" of /daily/. I love a lot of these, but not all of them deserve to be on there.
Also, you should reply to this post with ideas for what to replace them with. Forca Bruta will most likely be one, but what else deserves to be on there? Strawpoll coming once there's a good amount of ideas.

There's boring tape music, a fairly run-of-the-mill, 28-minute long psychedelic "jam", a boring song that sounds like a guy practicing a song on piano for like 10 minutes, etc. The second track was a somewhat decent drone track, "Kayo Musicale" had a nice ominous vibe, but those tracks can't save the save the album from being mediocre overall. 1.5
>Lars Horntveth - Kaleidoscopic Starts off with 10 minutes of pleasant, if unremarkable neo-romanticism, then for no apparent reason dives into electronica. It's a bit of a compositional mess overall, Horntveth's attempts to integrate electronica and jazz instrumentation into classical music don't really work very well, and many of the segments of the piece just don't really fit well. It's ok I guess but yeah uh whatever. 2.0+
