>Elder Scrolls is STILL the undisputed open world RPG franchise

Why

presumably because the competition mostly suck

Oblivion on Switch when?

this thread can wrap up now. no further answers are necessary

Well how many other open world RPG FRANCHISES are out there

Witcher 3 and LoZ blow Elder Scrolls completely away, but they are just 1 game, not a franchise.

no.
you are wrong.
i'm not even going to put forward an argument.

because there are none like it that offer so much freedom , while witcher 3 also has an amazing openworld and story it lacks the freedom to do and become anything you want you are simply geralt and play his story , in the elderscrolls you are essentialy making your own story and be what and whoever you want to be.

>buggy as shit engine
>empty
>boring main quest

I guess if you are into """sandboxes""", i prefer to have a game with substance though.

not Oblivion but Elder Scrolls V due sometime this summer i believe

...

substance such as the witcher or LOZ?
i respectfully disagree with you faggot.
and that is ok :)

Oblivion sucks ass.

A remaster of Oblivion would be epic

Why are you describing every bethesda game?

>Witcher 3 they are just 1 game, not a franchise.

The witcher *three*

is not a franchise.

>Hi guys, I was on my way to Kaer Morhen but I stopped to ask what is going on in this thread?

TFW you haven't made anything good since Morrowind

It's the first actual open world one, dumb dumb.

Yes, substance like those.

>NPCs are shells with little to no AI at all
>zero world interaction without the players direct involvement

Into the sea with you

because you are all blinded by your own nostalgia

for me pic related is the best open world rpg franchise, but I know I think so because I played this during my teens, so I have selective memories of it
