Heard this guys backstory in an Earwolf podcast, 100% agree with him, this shit happens in NO, LA alot too, people usually homeless or living in shelters, I sympathize with their plight, their situations are sometimes terrible, but that doesnt give you the right to go out in the street and play an instrument like garbage, and get miffed when people dont give them an "A" for effort and throw change or small bills in a bucket for what is essentially noise pollution, not music.

Yeah Improv4humans, Besser has a segment in which he takes youtube video suggestions from forum posts that would be good for an improv group to dissect and base scenes upon etc. so this one comes up in like 2012 or 2013 I forget and they listen and they as a group pretty much side with this guy but the online mob mentality surrounding this video is clearly wrong, typical youtube shit, look at this weird old guy hassling street performer et al. and then like 2-3 months later Besser actually has the guy call in to the recording of I4H podcast and he (I checked) is totally legit, concert level violin, NYU music school prof. really well connected in NYC classical music scene for like 4 decades, introduced Bob Dylan on stage like 5 times, worth a listen if you can find them IMO
