Yea, I genuinely like what I do. I figure regardless of what job you do, try to be the best at it.
I even get to make my own schedule and get any day I want off. It's a really good gig for what it is. My boss is great. I'm a single dad of a little boy and it allows me to spend plenty of time with him.
how did you get into that?

Wendy's in Des Plaines?
Glad yer happy. If I could be happy at one weeks take home pay per month I'd consider it. Truth is I'm trying to raise my income not cut it to 25%. I spent a year not working....was pretty bored tbh.
Is it worth it? Do you have free time during the day and what do you do then, if so? Are you happy with your career choice?

> About 20/hour in USD

It's meh. Little free time during the week mostly drive and sleep. Love driving but being home everyday with weekends off would be ideal. Local jobs have hours like fast food and don't pay much better though so over the road I go.
I'm happy I did it as I always wanted to drive a big truck since I was a kid. That said I'm stacking cash to go back to school full time soon as my house is paid off and move to something else before self driving trucks put me out of work with no plan.

a maid. Housekeeper, cleaner, whatever you wanna call it.
eric?
I wouldn't want to call it a domestic engineer
No degree for that needed. Probably something in the tech sector. All my buddy's do big data analytics and make 2x+ what I do.

Kinda figure in 3 years when my house is paid for and I've enough to pay for school and only work part time I'll ask my buddies what degree their bosses want to see and get after it.
It's pretty much that or keep driving truck till they kick me out and hope I've had enough time to fill my IRAs and collect rental properties....
