doesn't work, yes

I wonder what Chyna would be like right now if it had never opened up

and that's precisely why they realised communism is a meme

memes are supposed to be funny though
nothing funny about communism

yes, the capitalist country with the most billionaires and inequality

very communism

>china
>communist or socialist

China has been very capitalist since Deng Xiaoping. It has the most billionaires, private companies and private priperty existing out the ass, and foreign companies setting up factories and other operations there.

where's this?

>Americans in charge of knowing anything about capitalism

>spics in charge of not being dumb as fucking shit

Read a book you fucking idiot. Socialism is defined as the means of production being publicly owned, correct? This is literally not China.

businessinsider.com/how-china-went-from-communist-to-capitalist-2015-10

>China has been very capitalist
then you don't really know what Chinese economy is exactly about, because it remained very interventionist and protectionist
Shenzhen

Ive been here before. Its nice and shiny from a distance, but its really a shithole. Its nothing but a suburb on a grotesque scale.

where was ever written that capitalism can't be protectionist? not every capitalist has to be some neolib
then again i don't go to /biz/ so my question stands

>interventionist and protectionist

This doesn't mean it isn't capitalist you moron. Japan is very protectionist too.

The Chinese don't have free-market capitalism as seen in the west, but they do have capitalism now in which the MOP are privately owned and with private property existing. Funny how you post pics of Shenzhen and Shanghai when they were literally established as SEZ (much more free market oriented) by deng xiaoping.

Is this thread satire? Are americans seriously THIS retarded?

And literally all of China's economic success comea from the late 70s reform by Deng in which he legalized private companies, private businesses, private property and allowed foreign companies to invest and set up operations in China.

Are you a llama fucking Mestizo moron who has no arguments?

>an inequality

That's Ch*le and South Africa

>it's a shithole
You haven't been to Shenzen then.

they allowed some of free market but still China is largely fucking commie

socialism with Chinese characteristics :^)

Not him but capitalism isn't synonymous with free markets. China has mixed economy like most countries and is by no definition socialist.

>Free-marked economy with low regulations on the exchange of goods and services in the private sector
>Communist
It has been decades of de-regulations and economic reforms. China is essentially not a communist country anymore.

>China
>Communist

>abandon communism and open up
>it suddenly works
communism is great

Not exactly true

There was one Chinese politician who during the early years of economic reforms in the 80s said that "We've been doing everything wrong. According to Marx, a nation must pass through a capitalist phase before it can achieve socialism. However, China has not done so yet. We've attempted to move directly from a feudal society to communism. The only capitalism that existed in the country were in foreign-controlled enclaves. It will probably take another 300 years before socialism is viable, but this is a short stretch of time in our long history."

The thing you need to remember as well is that the unexpurgated works of Marx, Engels, and Lenin aren't available to most Chinese, only edited versions that support the current agenda of the CCP. This is also true of Mao Zedong's works, which also tend to be edited to be compatible with whatever official ideologies are in place at the moment.

Funny 'cos no developed industrialized nation ever got taken over by gommunism, only backwards shitholes like Russia.

Germany almost did after WW1

Koreaboos aren't dum-

that's state capitalism though

state capitalism doesn't wo-

>
no

>Despite this, the system has widely been cited as a form of state capitalism.[1][2]

Read you fucking idiot.

>Analysis of the "Chinese model" by the economists Julan Du and Chenggang Xu finds that the contemporary economic system of the People's Republic of China represents a state capitalist system as opposed to a market socialist system. The reason for this categorization is that financial markets exist in the Chinese economic system, which are absent in classic models of market socialism and in the market socialist literature; and that state profits are retained by enterprises rather than being equitably distributed among the population in a social dividend or similar scheme (which are central features in most models of market socialism). They conclude that China is neither a form of market socialism nor a stable form of capitalism.[8]

It isn't socialist at all.

China has economic zones where communism is supplanted by heavily controlled crony capitalism, yes.
This in no way makes their markets free, you idiot

socialist state doesn't wo-

I literally said it isn't free market capitalism you mongoloid.

Read for fucks sake.

Vietnam is also capitalist. See Doi Moi. Again, legalized private companies and private property again.

mobile.nytimes.com/2015/07/21/world/asia/ho-chi-minh-city-finds-its-soul-in-a-voracious-capitalism.html

>Capitalism is Communism

>what is socialist-oriented market economy

Capitalism never died in the south. To this day it's where most of Vietnam's wealth is while the north remains Africa-tier.

And you're a tard for thinking that China is communist or socialist anymore. The workers don't down jack shit. It's state capitalist with private businesses making up a huge portion of the gdp. Even though the biggest companies are state owned.

Again

In socialism there is NO private ownership of the means of production or private property you idiot. What Vietnam and China are is state capitalists.

>Many analysts assert that China is one of the main examples of state capitalism in the 21st century.[63][64][65]

Again, it's the same model in Russia now.

>Shenzhen
>aka the city that exists entirely because of Hong Kong
>a true model for communism
ok

>Mao dies
>China abandons communism in everything but name
>becomes rich
Makes me think.

>modern day China
>communist

Shenzhen is about to surpass Hong Kong's economy in the next 3 years...

Russia's model is crony capitalism.

>memes are supposed to be funny
Are you from 2006? memes are anything but funny nowadays.
