Why do /fa/ and Sup Forums have such openly young people?

I think you're doing pretty well, man.

Because if you're into fashion and music you're far less likely to be stuck on Sup Forums after adolescence.

I'd imagine that is pertinent to most if not all boards on here, many teens gain awareness of Sup Forums through the internet and, hearing of it as a stronghold of the iniquitous, are attracted to browsing the boards on the website as a form of rebellion against society (this is particularly applicable to those who are not strong-willed enough to rebel directly as part of a phase in growing up). As to why so many are attracted to /fa/ and Sup Forums I think the reason is rather ubiquitous - for one, it is easier to recognize a younger poster as they are better aware of the trends of their time and not others and two, they are more interested in discovering new music/ style to reinforce their self-confidence among-st their peers and gain some perceived advantage or superiority over them to compensate for their (likely physical) inabilities. That and, of course, fashion and music both appeal to a broader degree of the population than niche interests such as papercraft and transport.

That's a decent explanation. I mean I remember being 13 and on Sup Forums in 2006. I stopped browsing in 2010 and then came back in 2014 and now I feel like it's time to leave again. It doesn't feel good to be an oldfag. I don't know how some people take pride and even tripfag for years.

I browsed Sup Forums a lot in 2009 to get into music that wasn't emo or hardcore. I got a lot of fashion and music advice from Sup Forums when it seemed like the tastes of other websites were either still developing or were plain terrible. Maybe I am too old to be browsing here as much as I do.

>all these faggots who are listening to death grips and other post-2010 artists in middle or high school

I didn't know Sup Forums was populated with these literal children and underage browsing the board. Hell no wonder this is really one of the worst boards. Now it make a lot of sense.

Joot needs to raise the age limit to 21.

I see what you mean to some degree, like you I was 13 when I started browsing and lurked for years until I came of age, and as that happens it seems evermore difficult to relate to the people on this board. Perhaps its due to noticing what you haven't before in terms of how people behave on here, where once I looked up to people on this board as being irrevocably superior it seems a lot of the time they haven't really listened much to what they claim to enjoy. In the case of /r9k/ its seems like a harem of disenfranchised ass-hats in their late teens who refuse to do anything other than exaggerate their problems for petty (you)s and make out that their going to kill themselves or plead for advice only to snub those for giving it. It goes without saying that a lot of people on here lie about their age. It'd seem that many turn to blame Reddit as a result, which I suppose has some truth of it, the more you tell people not to go on something, especially adolescents, the more likely they are to go and do just that. I can't say if you're too old for the website, though I can certainly see why you'd see it as time to leave.

Most people here are around 17-19 maybe you're too old for Sup Forums desu

>Disintegration, Kind Diamond and Ministry's best album at age 12
This guy as a kid has the best taste here

Danke, I lived across the street from Underground Records just a few miles from King Diamond's studio so that's how I got into Conspiracy when it came out. Basically anyone who walked in there was given the full course on him whether they asked for it or not. The Cure was from my older brother blasting it into my room as I drooled over Marvel comics and Ministry was from my friends older brother who got me instantly obsessed.

Oh no I'm retarded, I thought you meant you tried climbing the mountain K2

Guy I was friends with at the time hooked me up with some "marijuana" which was actually K2. Caused my friend to have a heart attack at 17 and triggered my epilepsy. It's really bad stuff.
