Maybe pleb, but i really enjoyed Middle brother's self titled album, i think it's great alt-country, if you haven't heard it, Blue Eyes and Portland are great places to start

anyone listened to the new albums by Radiator King and Coco Hames? not usually into Americana/alt-country/folk rock but they were pretty good

what do you guys think of Shearwater?

youtube.com/watch?v=rT18MscbmEo

I have them as folk but they have a more experimental/world sound.

drive by truckers are good

yes, but the newest album really isn't tbqh

they peaked quite a while back

Fuckin Fleet Foxes, man

I enjoy them

Here's a classic youtube.com/watch?v=XKbSLu9ABaQ

I have to disagree with that. American Band was great, and it's really the only good album they've put out since Brighter Than Creation's Dark.

Is the rest of the album better than that "What it Means" song?

All jokes aside, Johnny Rebel could have made it commercially if he wouldnt have shoehorned racism into his music.

Classic Country (70's version) Country experienced a sudden popularity because of The Smokey and The Bandit and Urban Cowboy Movies.,

Wait, isn't Johnny Rebel being ironic in his music?

This for folk. Also Bruce Springsteen(probably Born in the USA and Born to Run) for Americana
