haven't heard anything aoty-worthy yet

...

I like this chart
Anything special you do to make this easier to make?
Like is tgere any easy way to do this with topsters or is this more time consuming like Photoshop

cheers

no easy way as far as i know, i made mine in gimp. but once i had the chart set up its easy enough to just set a grid and then copy and paste album covers in, then resize and fit to the grid

half you assholes haven't even listened to this shit.
>power of suggestion biotch.

what?

The Jaap Vink album is archival so feel free to ignore it if you think that doesn't count

oh cool i might have to give that aaron dilloway album a listen, i remember i liked modern jester a bit (havent heard it in ages though)

>what's good

Narkopop's the only thing to actually impress me this year

>what's not so good
Honestly while I liked Actress' AZD it's pretty lackluster. and of course Damn is mediocre AF

it's still new so I'm not sure exactly where it sits, but I'm thinking it's at least on par with Modern Jester. but also it ends really strong so maybe I'm overrating it based on that rather than looking at the thing as a whole.

Though I'm keen on the upcoming PWR BTTM, Floating Points, and LCD Soundsystem releases.

...

from what I see and my own experience, most people 25 on this board have found their center of interest and/or left the board because once you know what you want there is clearly not much interest in coming back here except if you want to share albums and interest in hope of creating a community if it doesn't already exists

boomkat put out the Coverdale thing so I think you have to get it there. should be on soulseek by now tho

Yeah definitely, sharing albums is one of my favourite things on here. I've been recommended so many great albums on here, that I probably wouldn't have discovered otherwise.

Just got it on soulseek

Both of these albums come out tomorrow and I already know I am going to love them both.
Been waiting on a Tiny Vipers release for years, and this one is going to be experimental as fuck, love the single.

Tiny Vipers - Laughter

Forest Swords - Compassion

Forgive me for being a crossover-listening plebeian. Have there been any decent crossover releases this year, or should I just wait until Municipal Waste's album?

meh

...

Yo, got your new forest swords right here

I've enjoyed all of these albums but I don't think any are worthy of being called "AOTY." Kind of a weak start to the year IMO
