Rice Owls

You can only post in this thread if your team is undefeated or playoff bound.

Roll tide.

Bama is ugly

trap

NO YOU ARE

MAKE THE BIG EAST GREAT AGAIN

>in before

>MACTION
>TONIGHT

Can your body even be ready, user?

>Eastern Michigan will probably make a bowl
No wonder armageddon is happening

>my university is adding a position called Dean of Inclusion
what did they mean by this

what is this even

I think it's about race relations? Not sure

Well in this day and age, it's necessary, apparently

As annoying as it is that Wazzu isnt getting love in the rankings, im okay with it cuz hopefully it keeps our guys thirsty and maybe a little pissed off. Were gonna need the fire this Saturday.

GO COUGS

I think the funniest part of this pasta is that half of the players mentioned are redshirted this year and won't play at all.

They aren't getting love because they lost to a fucking FCS school.

Im not saying they deserve to be in the playoff picture but 22 is pretty low for an 8-game winning streak and leader of the pac-12 north. They should be at least 15-18.

No. Mike Leach is their coach, formerly of Texas Tech. That school never had more than 8-10 wins a season on the high end, good enough for a bowl but never a serious challenger for a conference title.

That's what you're getting with Mike Leach.

>tfw unironically in the Top 10 with an outside shot to make the playoff

Beyond my wildest dreams lads.

10 wins a season is pretty damn good for non-bluebloods. Coming from a UNC fan, I would be happy with perpetual 8-10 win seasons.

Sip on that haterade all you want but WSU will be perennial pac-12 contender with mike leach. The passion and pride of WSU is the difference between them and Tech.

This. 11 win seasons (including bowls) as a Gamecock for three straight years was the shit

>playpenises

I want tOSU to BTFO MSU and UM like 62-3 both games and then get snubbed. I think all the whining from their fanbase will accelerate the inevitable CFP expansion.

4 is just not enough.

Bama
2. Northwest Missouri State
3. Wisscozzu
4. Sam Houston
5. Penn State
6. Wazzu
7. ANosu
T8. Harvard
T8. Princeton
T8. Penn.

*8 Holds 3 way tie over each other

10. Western Michigan

Could be worse, my college might be doing this shit

No
It never will expand

really makes you think

>create a safe space for students experiencing hostilities to seek refugee
Kek, just fuck my generation up family

Don't be silly. It's going to be expanded and it's going to happen much sooner than you think

also
>Idaho leaving for FCS after season
>will play in bowl
the end is near

But he wen't 11-1 one year and only lost the conference because division winner was determined by BCS ranking.

Anyways he win the conference this year so it doesn't matter.

Would be easier if they were just fucking honest.

OU has a large market and no one cares about WVU.

>yfw WVU kills Oklahoma and Morgantown is set on fire

The autist will prevail.

What's the point of even discussing cfb when it's obvious that Bama is just going to easily win it all again?

Because no one cares about Bama but you, and we want to talk about REAL teams.

Bama is the only program that matters

If West Virginia wins out, could they be in the playoff?

media has a bias against WVU for partying and "small" market so doubtful

This was also said two years ago desu

>Mfw da buffs BTFO washington state

1) Western Michigan
2) Alabama
3) Troy
4) San Diego State

prove me wrong

>yfw he starts (and wins) the iron bowl

Did your school just open up a whole Center for Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging? Yeah, that's what I thought. Checkmate

kek

>A team with a loss
lol

Actually this thread is for people whose teams have completed perfect seasons this decade.

>no, aOSU, 2012 doesn't count

And this is better than the BCS computer how...?

What the fuck went right?

Your recruiting classes have been in the 70s for years and you went 1-8 in the Pac-12 last year.

>>no, aOSU, 2012 doesn't count
Fuck you

>best win was against the #25 team
How about no.

Not saying it was a national championship season.

Also, Nebraska was #21 win Ohio State played them, Michigan State was #20 and Michigan finished at #24. So you're off by one

...

they lost a lot of close games last year where their offense looked decent

i think its a combination of more consistency on offense and mediocre play all around the country but especially in the pac 12

if you were to extend the rankings beyond 25 all the way up to 120 or whatever it is, i think you could look at the teams ranked like 7 or 10 to 40 or 50 and find them all to be pretty close to equal

...

Actually, the Texas-Bama national championship game was played in January 2010 so yes Alabama has completed a perfect season this decade.

>Michigan loses The Game
>drops 1 spot to 4
>neither win the conference
>both go to the playoff
would be bretty mad tbH

>"Well basically if your team isn't a Blue Blood, we don't give a fuck. West Virginia has a nice fanbase but Oklahoma is a massive college football market and we just can't afford to lose that revenue."

That's all he had to say.

Would you still be mad if Louisville, Clemson and Washington all drop another game too?

>This butthurt
Please end the meme Houston

No. There's more money in a larger playoff system than making sure Michigan plays both Northwestern and Purdue next season. A lot more. The ratings would be ridiculous and you could ensure some of that money is pooled and funneled back into the participating conferences.

This entire year is a running meme

Even if a playoff game maybe able to recoup 20 teams, 4 extra games isn't gonna pay off 128 teams

>Fog

And they didn't finish ranked.

Who in the top 5 do they Think they should be ranked ahead of?

>Kansas
When do they bring back the fat man? Fucking hell.

It would be more than enough. Expanding the playoffs would only increase total revenue (by a shitload). It's simply a matter of getting the distribution right.

they will suspend the game due to fog

Nah

Maybe Michigan
But I don't really think any of them or even most of the country doesn't really understand the point of the committee.

they are number 2 right now. you think they are going to win two games 62-3 and get left out?

at what point are they playing water polo??

>Michigan
They both have 1 loss and Michigan actually has quality wins though

Are you fucking kidding me? Not to the scale That's needed

Look, the playoff doesn't actually exist to have 4 teams play for the natty
If that's what you believe please go to an insane asylum
It's an event that's put on by a bunch of rich white guys so they can get richer
They one reason they expanded was to get more money
They're not gonna expand if it costs them money

hope not but i could see them saying its affecting player safety or some shit

Yeah but they lost last week
Fortunately the committee isn't as reactionary as most people are about these things

seem them play in worst than this

great game if only for the spaghetti
>oh god please finish

>They're not gonna expand if it costs them money

If you think people would rather watch tOSU play Kent St than another week of playoffs, you're the one that's headed to the looney bin, friend.

This fog is awesome

I have some extra income now that my hewer girlfriend is gone, what should I do?

Was thinking maybe Superb Owl tickets or traveling to an away game somewhere.

I know
That's still gonna cost Ohio State
Especially in years they don't make the playoffs

this is the wrong place to ask -_-

I don't think Oklahoma could handle being defeated by Clemson 3 years in a row in the postseason.

The money would be distributed out to counter that. Even non participants.

Can I still get playoff tickets? I don't know where the games are but fuck it I'll travel

but it won't be enough to cover everyone
