The flavour is different, as well as the texture. So when you don't like a certain type of, say candy, you're completely incapable of understanding why anyone would like that?
It's fine though, no one is forcing you, or me, to cook their meat in any particular way.

Yeah, if their going to cook a steak to well done, they may as well just cook fucking pork chops since it's going to taste the same at that point.

You cook all of the good fats and protein out of the steak when it's well done so you're just left with a whole bunch of carbs.

I guess I could work my way down the list to see what's good. Following the candy example, I learned to love liquorice after buying an entire bag, slowly but surely working my way through it.

I like it medium/medium well. My Mom on the other hand likes her steak blue rare, and not just any blue rare, she requests it to be cooked at the minimum time required by law. Everyone else in my family can't stand raw steak
