Nah, but it makes cleaning way easier and it looks nicer.
Nope, and to be fair, doing a super tidy job and cable tying everything together just results in more fekkin work when u want to change something, but some Ppl are just super vane.
you think that cables might add to over heating
yes
for cooling and managing new parts.
Not for cooling.
- It's relatively easy to do with cable ties and some sort of "stickies" for them, forgot what they are called. Also I think most cases are designed for that and have room for cables behind the motherboard.
- looks very nice
- should give better airflow and cooling, but this one probably depends on many variables.
I have a non-modular PSU.
Had a case with no cable management, so it was a spiderweb inside.
Got a new case with cable management, no cables in pathway of airflow.
Better benchmarks.
My experience, agree or don't I'm out.
Vane
Vain
Vein
Zipties?
Anyway, the thread is pretty spot on. Cable management is important for office machines and top end gaming machines.
For the average Joe that has to replace parts every couple months because of budget it's counterproductive. The airflow is a thing, so you gotta make a little order into de whole thing but you don't really need ties to do that.
