Hey Sup Forums, I've got a problem. I really enjoy films made in the 80's and 90's, but I don't know any that I haven't already seen. What are some of your favorite movies from before 2000?

Tell you what, sport - why don't you list the ones you've seen, then we'll tell you about the others.
Leon: The Professional
American History X
Pulp Fiction
Fight Club
Reservoir Dogs
A Clockwork Orange
Although it's not a movie from the listed period. I rather enjoyed Filth.
Desperation bump, I also remember having seen Seven and liking it a lot.
no Higher Learning
no SLoAM
trihard
The Fifth element.
Looking those two up now, what is SLoAM? I'm as newfriend as they come to this board.
Go through all the good Jackie Chan movies, there are quite a bit good ones. Even easier in germany the VAs are pretty much perfect even in the old movies.
Real Genius (1985)
Reckless (1984)
Red Dawn (1984)
Red Heat (1988)
Reform School Girls (1986)
Remo Williams: The Adventure Begins... (1985)
Renegades (1989)
Repo Man (1984)
Rescue, The (1988)
Return of the Living Dead (1985)
Return of the Living Dead Part II (1988)
Return to Oz (1985)
Revenge of the Nerds (1984)
Risky Business (1983)
Road House (1989)
Road Warrior, The (1981)
Robocop (1987)
If we can go 70s:
Klute
Really good movie. It's like a more 'realistic' american version of a giallo. The same themes are explored, but the imagery is more subtle and gritty.

Speaking of American giallo, The Eyes of Laura Mars is pretty good. It doesn't compare to Klute, but it's worth the watch.
If it must be 80s/90s:
The Spanish Prisoner (1997)
Ravenous (1999)
Private School (1983)
Single White Female (1992)
Tampopo (1985)
Dead Heat
You should really get into The Oeuvre of Joe Piscopo.

80's/90's was just a timeframe movies I enjoyed happened to come from, so it was where I wanted to start.
I'm pretty plebian, I know. I'm trying to open up to lesser-known movies, though, which is a big part of why I posted here.
How about you come up with some recommendations for him then since that's what he fucking asked for, faggot.
Alright. Start with Kubrick I guess? He's as entry level as they come. I could throw out random movies all day, but Kubrick is the best place to start if you're actually looking to explore film as an art form.
Nightbreed
also woody allen, lotta greats from him in those decades
Jin-Roh: The Wolf Brigade
Bringing out the Dead
A Simple Plan
Bio Zombie
Maborosi
Rebels of the Neon God
Man Bites Dog
Black Rain (Imamura)
River's Edge
Mr. Vampire
Mishima: A Life in Four Chapters
Once Upon a Time in America
Boat People
Why didn't I read this before listing movies.
There's a few b-movies that rise above their status with good cinematography and decent actors.
The slasher The Zero Boys comes to mind. It was adverstized as an action movie, but it's more original Friday the 13th meets Deliverance.

That trailer doesn't do the movie justice. Anyway, it's a pretty *obscure* movie. Fuck, now I feel like I should tip my hipster hat.
Deliverance is a must-watch, btw. But you've probably seen it.
After Hours (1985) is really good.
Angel Heart (1986). This is a great movie. One of my favorite.
Speaking of Mickey Rourke, 9 1/2 Weeks is an amazing movie that was panned by critics and audiences alike because people are a shit. It's not just some pseudo-erotic drama. The acting is fucking great in it. The writing is tight. You can understand what's going on in a silent scene just by a look on the actors' faces.
Year of the Dragon is good too.
This is shit I would watch when my parents first let me watch 18 rated films when I was 13. You have terrible taste
Thanks to everybody for helping out with the list, I've got a lot here now. I've looked up a few titles, and they all seem like they're gonna be great watches.
