Lactating Gay Homosexuals gets posted in every one of these threads and it needs to stop. The show has some very well directed battle sequences and is very engrossing but it owes a lot of its holding power to its nature as an ongoing tv series.

Taken in episode by episode it's not an amazing piece of work. A lot of the 'history, philosophy and military strategy' is shallow and the 'huge cast' is even shallower, with the number of characters with actual character being countable on your fingers.

i wonder about this a lot. Take the blonde nerd in for example. Is he a cartoon? I think there's a case to be made for yes and no. His facial proportions are a bit simple and exaggerated, but he's still very clearly meant to look like a normal person.

I sincerely think that Legend of the Blue Wolves is great. Those /m/ designs were 10/10 and the concepts were interesting. Both the yaoi stuff and the weird unstoppable alien invaders.

I think there was a lot of potential there and it's a shame the rest never got made.
