the villain in that shitty harrison ford airplane movie

I've always liked him in all I've seen him in, even though he's been in some pretty poor movies over the years.

His roles that immediately come to mind are The Fifth Element, The Book of Eli, Harry Potter, Batman, Lost in Space, Bram Stoker's Dracula, The Professional, Lawless, and Dawn of the Planet of the Apes.

He always plays his part just as it's written, and does a much better job than someone else, but IMO he does much better as a villain. If I had to only pick one, based on JUST his performance it'd be pretty close, but it would probably be a close run between The Fifth Element and Book of Eli, with Eli winning out just cause it seemed like he had a bit too much fun with Element.

I like him better as a more conflicted villain (i.e. Dawn of the Planet of the Apes), but he really nails the real ones.
