Hey b, my gf says she wants to get finger tats like these, what do you think? Ugly or hot?

there only cool if there clubs diamonds spades and hearts

Always cool. Hot? maybe. Depends on your girl.

...

Ok thanks for the feedback. I think they are lame and wouldnt even fit her style, heres a pic of her

Don't let her, it's a stupid new trend

They are cheesy, ugly and make it hard to get a job.

Ugly, af when she turns 30 good luck getting a job

This
Plus tattoos are degenerate

It's a nice showcase of lack of personal substance. If she's that much of a worthless cretin to even consider them, you would probaly be better off by dropping her like a brick.

Like your opinion is going to make a difference and if it does you've got an obedient kiss ass for a girlfriend.

I wish i could, she's pissed that i didnt like the idea. Like bitch whyd you show me this, you know what id say

I mean she takes professional advice from me all the time. I dont see how this is any different
>inb4 my body my choice

Grow a long ass beard in protest

>what do you think? Ugly or hot?

Childish is a more apt description

Soo good looking, i'd let her.

ahh get this pathetic excuse for a thread out of here. no one gives a fuck.

You say that as if the whole 'my body my choice' isn't a legitimate thing

Well as her bf im still going to say her choice was retarded and based on impulse and trends.

Ok, so why are you here?

Better question , why are you here? I just wanted opinions on them

On the toes are better :^)

And then what? Let's say we all comment that it's hot as fuck, your opinion would change?

I agree and they are easier to hide. If anything ill try to convince her to get those instead

Maybe... show me a tat that might be actually cool instead of generic hippie peace signs and yin yang and i might reconsider

They're hot. Send your girl to me, i'll give em to her.

They're fine, but finger tattoos don't tend to last long. The skin there is different and when they fade, it will look like shit. My tattoo artist refused to do it.

Yea i read about that. How often would she need to touch up?

Dunno, depends on the skin, but probably once every year at least. A friend of mine got little black dots on her fingers and they smeared right after the procedure.

If she isn't covered in tattoos: ugly, trashy. Everyone who has tattoos will think she's a poser and anyone who's willing to tattoo someone's hands when they aren't covered are not reputable tattoo artists.

I work at a shop and I can fuckin tell ya that 85% of artists will not do her hands. Anyone who does, you shouldn't get tattooed by them.

She'll have a hard time getting jobs since people look at hand tattoos the same way they look at face and neck tattoos. Unless she has the job she's going to have for the next 30 years, tell her she's a moron. They're called job stoppers for a reason.

TDLR; don't get your hands tattooed especially if it's inspired by Pinterest hipsterism.

You're talking about the inner finger. Your artist just sucks.

>TDLR

baby boomers detected.
hand/finder tats aren't taboo anymore, yeah it makes it more difficult to get a job, but most anyone will do it now a days, plenty of chick's have cute little finger tattoos.

She wants to be cool and rebellious, and have you support her

I suggest she draw them on first with 'permanent ink' so she will be stuck with them for a while. Watch for attitude change when dealing with you/others

Don't know about where you're at but my last 7 jobs in Canada definitely didn't even remotely care about my tattoo creeping up my neck

They still are. Also I'm 25. I work at a shop.

Just because you or that girl have no tattoos (or even good ones at that), doesn't mean you shouldn't overlook this because it's 2017. You think that's changed? People look at me way different and I don't have my hands tattooed but my entire torso and arms are. It's being smart and being subconscious about your future.

Have respect for tattoo culture and work your way to your hands. Unless you want to be a chef, stripper/escort/erotic masseuse, warehouse/factory worker, or construction (any hard labour job for that matter), hand tattoos are a one way ticket to doing these jobs forever and by the looks of that girl she's never picked up a hammer on her life.

Be smart. Don't justify it by saying they're cute. They're not.
