Shouldn't these shots be reversed...

Shouldn't these shots be reversed? The film should have started out with the right shot because we don't see her evil side yet. The one on the right is warmer and is what our first impression of her is but by the end of the film we see her for a cold bitch. I think this is a blunder on fincher's part

Taking into account how autistic Fincher can be with attention to detail, I find that highly unlikely.

It's not a blunder, it's absolutely intentional
Think about how fucking creepy the right one is after having seen the movie? Reversing it would just be so simple it'd be meaningless

it's called foreshadowing faggot...and like other user said the ending version is so much more impactful because of what we know about her now

It was a unrealistic shit movie doesn't matter

Don't quit your day job

Its the juxtaposition, at first we think something dark has happened to this beautiful woman, then at the end we know this beautiful woman is hiding her batshit crazy self from the rest of the world

This movie pissed me off. Second that bitch got back I would've went in front of a camera to say she was fucking crazy

That amount of crazy and dedication got my dick hard. I would have immediately impregnated her after she returned.

She's way more menacing in the right image, are you nuts? Creepy smile, slicked back hair, all dolled up in bed, aggressive eyebrows. Also her head is slightly turned away, as opposed to directly facing you. How socially retarded to you have to be to not recognize body language and facial cues?

I would've really killed her when she got back if she played that pregnancy bullshit with me. I'd rather kill my unborn child than have one raised by that psycho bitch

The left is used to set the tone, the right - being that we already know how much of a crazy bitch she is - is used to emphasize how good she is at appearing to be normal.

Fun fact; she's wearing a wig in both shots and cgi is used to make it look like a natural hair line

Watch Fincher movies with commentary

this is finchers weakest movie and he clearly phoned it in. but those shots make sense in the order they are

Couldn't Batman have killed her outright and hide her body instead of doing all that shit where he stayed with her? I mean she cried wolf and no one believes her anymore they'd just chalk it up to her looking for attention again.

Not true at all famalma
His last 3 films are his best 3. He's at the absolute top of his game

>Fincher's weakest movie

Alien 3 called, it wants its status back.

>left
>on her bad side rocky relationship

>right
>relationship resolved

what's hard to understand?

After a lot of thought my conclusion is that while she went way over the top, she was fundamentally not wrong. Ben spent all her money and then cheated on her, in a role reversal you all would be calling for her head.
Betrayal is the worst sin and frankly I have very little sympathy for those who commit it and get their comeuppance.

Why is everybody talking about this movie again all of a sudden. Is it on Netflix this month or something?

After all the shit he had to endure, I think he was glad for it all to be over - no matter how shitty the consequences.

"'better the devil you know than the devil you don't." So on and so forth.

The film is perfect. So far, one of the best of the decade and of Fincher's career.

So, no. The shots are fine.

I think the recent lack of good movies has made people think back to how long it's been since one came out, and most non-retarded people are remembering this

the left image looks sad and submissive which is what she fools the public into thinking, the right one she is creepy and smug as fuck

are you blind man?

its just jueden propaganda to make the white man not trust white women

You must be autistic man.

The left image is a girl who is submissive, she's looking up to him for guidence and security. It's a cooler color because of this calm attitude.

The right is her after. The image is warmer to show her agressive side. She's smiling, because she's now the one in control.

I thought my feelings about this movie were weird and fucked up because I sympathized with Amy, not for her manipulation and deception but for the absurd DEPTH of her dedication. There was something eerily beautiful about her willingness to literally become a supervillain.

Then it turns out a lot of people who saw the movie felt that way about her.
