I think I have that same little end table. It's old as fuck.

this is literally my dream. electronics lab/ mechanics shop + music studio.

Ehh, it's ok. I don't play vidya so I hang out in here.

I could go take a pic of my living room too but not too exciting. Couple couches and a 55" TV. It's nice being an adult and not having to confine all of your shit into a small bedroom at your parent's house.

I wish I had the extra money laying around to mic up my drums. Shit's not cheap tho and I'm too busy paying for this 2-car garage near the beach.

For a guitar, you can get away with one mic and a little stand. For the drums, you gotta drop some $$$ to do it right. You can get mics for fairly cheap that will get the job done if you set it up right but you still need to buy clamps and boom stands for everything, cables, an interface with a bunch of channels, plus software.

Fuckin Dank Souls 3 great choice mate!

I spend my whole life here.

I haven't had carpeted floors in years and honestly I can't imagine it anymore. Tile and hardwood is just so much easier. Then toss down some area rugs where you need em and throw those bitches out as soon as you spill something on them.

Pic related is indoor mancave with no cleanup after passing out on the couch last night. I really should sleep in the bed moar.

My legs have been known to blind the elderly.

>I haven't had carpeted floors in years
i just bought the place.
pic is master bedroom. i'm demo'ing and remodeling the 2 spare bedrooms first...then i'll do master....then kitchen.

new flooring is exterior plywood ripped to 5" widths glued to slab with an adhesive sealant.

>that miniature persian rug for a mouse mat

Class as fuck.

fucking faggot

>all those stains on the floor

edgy faglord

>Those floor stains

had to use gyazo to shrink the file size

Plywood? Wtf will that look like?

But anyway if you do real hardwood, that shit will always pay off when you go to sell. You can beat the hell out of it for 10 years, then just sand that bitch down and refinish it, and it will look like you just installed new floors.

My old house, we remodeled that shit quite a few years back. Had carpeting since like the 80s and shitty linoleum tile in the kitchen. Did hardwood thru the kitchen and new carpet thru the rest of the house. Liked the hardwood so much that like a year later we ripped up all the year old carpet and did wood throughout the whole house.

You seem thirsty

>You fucking faggot
better ?

Damn, is that a master bedroom? If not, how big is the house?

Holy shit I lol'd

Teach me, I have an old Dreamcast and some niggers who robbed me thought the cords were to the XBox 360.

nice autismware.

>dat drivers seat out of a 1989 Mercury

just get a t.bone set (eg. DC 1200) and two mic stands from thomman (cheapest mic stands are like 10€ a piece).

you also need a mixer, cables, some form of audio interface, obviously, but you need those anyway if you ever plan on recording anything.

Sub needs better placement, but I'm not redesigning my basement for my pc

What the hell is wrong with your dreamcast?
>also get on my level

Ya, I would love to get rid of the carpet, especially on the stairs, fucking sucks to keep clean.

google image search "plywood floors"

if i installed actual hardwood flooring in this house, it would be like throwing a $1000 saddle on a $10 horse.

just trying to make the place look pretty and dump it for a profit

The case is nice but I have since upgraded all the guts in it.

1100 Sq feet 2 story with a basement 2 bedroom 1 bath. this is my master bedroom yeah

Stains like that would smell right?

Can't think of anything more depressing. You're a fucking weirdo mate.

Idk, if I do it I'm going to do it right. I mean I might get cheaper mics to start, but at least an interface with a bunch of channels and mic everything. If I do it, I want to be able to record stuff with decent quality and send it to my guitarist in Austin and my bassist and keyboard players from Chicago.

I miss the good ol' days before everybody moved away. We had a great practice spot where everything was mic'd up. We sucked at mixing so when we wanted to record something serious we would pay for it but damn we were lucky with the spot we had as teenagers.

Would post a pic but all of em have us in them. Basically our rhythm guitarist, his dad had a small business and in the basement of the place he built a studio/ practice spot with everything you could want. Everything was mic'd, full stacks and half stacks for guitars and bass, tons of vocal mics, Tama Starclassic drums all mic'd up with the little isolation glass around it, nice keyboard, tons of pedals for guitars, soundproof walls. So whenever people went home for the night at 5pm, we had the keys to go do our thing.

Dude are you fucking retarded? That is the cheapest half assed idk what I'm doing shit I've ever heard. Not even tongue n groove boards. Exterior ply, so pt plywood. Doesn't stain like natural wood or stain grade ply. >Nice I have a deck for a floor inside my house. People will buy it

>that trashcan

Dude, I applaud you if you can actually live there. I don't even have a crawl space, my basement has 10ft ceilings and stabbed walls and I wouldn't even sleep there

Only thing that I would've wanted from the jam space was a better recording system. He might have updated it since then, but when we were using it there wasn't a typical interface going into a computer. The drums went into an 8 channel mixer, and then that all went into one channel into the 16? channel recording deal. So basically the drums bettet be mixed right first. Then you would record the songs all to this box and sit there and mix it the best you could and then burn it to a CD right from there.

Idk much about recording or mixing, it was always my guitarist buddy messing with it. It was probably some late 90s or early 00s technology. Dude's dad who owned it wasn't filthy rich so he would pick up lots of the stuff second hand and get deals. Maybe you have seen something like that? Not sure even how many tracks that mixer stored on it, but I remember recording 10 or 15 songs onto it, being able to listen back to them and mix it from there a bit, and then ripping a CD from it.

houstonfag

is that a storm trooper? I kinda wanted one of those.

exterior grade plywood floor

were you born autistic, or do you work at it?

cheers to you, Sup Forumsro

dude wtf

that desk is gorgeous...that wood floor is magical...worthy of Abe Lincoln. Nice shelves

yet you get a 2/10 for 2 different colored, different sized monitors

i'd want it exvery that it probably gets hot as shit in there.

Pretty nice, im hoping for my own space like this

who gives a fuck. the "exterior grade" looks way more badass and is probably cheaper. why are you shitting on it user? should he apologize for not buying the regular cookiecutter hardwood? shut up already, you sound like a big crybabby

You wretched human being

is that spiderman up there?

It is nice your right but when you live with your girlfriend it becomes hard to have a space like that where you can dissapear to for a hour or 2

Us @ work like 10 yrs ago. Main guitar is hooked up to 2x Marshall full stacks which you can't see in the pic. A few big Carvin monitors around, a closet full of extra gear, and them a desk off to the left with all the mixing stuff. This pic actually makes the room look smaller than it is.

Time for blogpost:
>kid whose dad owns this building, real shy kid (Peter)
>me and lead guitar have beem jamming for a year or two, his lil bro plays bass and is one of those kids who is good at any instrument he pics up
>anyway we were sophomores in HS and talent show was coming up
>Me, guitarist, and his lil bro bassist are gonna do it but don't want to sing
>shy kid Peter is in a bunch of our classes, tell him to come over and sing for us
>Somehow he caves to the peer pressure and comes over to my house and we start learning "Pinball Wizard" in my shitty and cold garage
>second practice session in my garage, he says he can play a little guitar and shows up with beautiful American Strat (we were like 15 at the time)
>after freezing our asses off in my shitty garage for a couple sessions, Peter says "My dad has some amps and stuff, why don't we jam there next time?"
>so a few days later we go and see pic related
>wtf Peter, we were practicing in my shitty garage for 3 weeks freezing our balls off when we could be here?!
And the rest is history

Looks like shit

well different priorities I guess. But thanks anyway.
