your mix is really muddy and that vocal being layered with its octave below probably causes a good bit of that. your flow kinda slips off a little bit too- this is a bit rough, needs some work in general IMO

really like this track. it sounds so "crisp" for lack of a better word. the dynamics are really cool too, how it builds up and trails quietly on after the build up. nice work.

to be honest, some of the best delivered vocals ive heard from one of these threads. i was kind of hoping the bongos would turn into drums eventually but thats just me. the track is good and you have talent.

For my gear,I use about 16 different mics, that tbqh I don't wanna go through haha, but also I use a RCA Reel to Reel recorder on 1/4'' tape. a 16 channel mixer goes into that, and on the outputs of the reel to reel are plugged into an audio interface that is then separated track by track (being that each track on the tape machine has an individual out for an effects loop) and post mix/master each individual track through reaper.

for guitars, I use my USA fender Telecaster, my MIK Gretsch Pro Jet, and Gibson Les Paul standard plus top. My acoustics are a Martin MIM acoustic, and a fender 12 string. I also use a moog sub bass, microkorgXL+, Korg Monolouge, and my own eurotrack unit. I also play a rickenbacker Bass, and my amps are a VOX AC30, and a cheap fender rumble for the bass. My band mates use other assorted gear respectively
